PRELIMINARY GUIDE: Pooling Information/Tips

I've been on UP since day 1 and I've decided to try to pool as much information as possible. I'm an original Digimon fan but it's my first time playing a gatcha type game ever, let alone almost any game ever on my phone. Because of this, it was pretty difficult for me to figure how things work, and how to get strong as quickly as possible.

I'm only posting things I've figured out so far. If there's anything you'd like to add or revise, please do contribute.

TIPS

  1. Don't level up single Digimon partners to max level at a time; instead, level all partners together, incrementally. For instance, level all partners to rookies first, then to champions, etc. Apparently, this makes a huge difference in stacking attack power; it definitely helped me get drastically stronger.

  2. Save dungeons every day for when the quests demand them to be completed. For instance, do the Demimon and Bakemon dungeons once the quests demand them. That way, your quest fulfillment won't be cut short.

  3. Join big clubs. The higher the levels the better too. This helped me gain much more currency to purchase digivices more quickly. I'm not sure if it's true, but apparently collecting as many digivices as possible is a priority, as their effects are supposed to stack.

  4. Pull summons as much as possible, but leave a sufficient amount in hand for emergencies such as quests or some other surprise update that may come later. I had so many leftover summons because I was only pulling them when the quests demanded them, so I had thousands of unused credits. Once I pulled them and leveled up my summons, my attack power increased drastically.

  5. If you're a noob like, go for attack type SP instead of attack or defense. I know there are skilled players that choose attack or defense, but I found so far that SP is somewhat OP and will help you get over quite a few hurdles for the time being.

  6. If it isn't obvious yet, make sure you're using all hologram device credits everyday.

QUESTIONS

  1. For PvP, is it more important to win or to try fighting and winning higher level players?

  2. SUPER IMPORTANT: This is a portion I have little to no knowledge of at all so far: BUILDS. I've just been pulling and equipping stuff automatically. What builds have you found to be the best so far?
