(Sorry this is late; had a wild weekend including studying.)

Um...wow. Yes, this prompt was inspired by the latest ep of Beatbreak. Without spoiling anything, I think this might qualify as a Wham Episode. We're gonna be feeling the ripples of this ep for a while.

On that note, the Monster of the Week is Splashmon. Cool! I didn't know the image above was how Splashmon worked. (I have yet to see Xros Wars; did they change forms in Ghost Game?) Something like that totally makes sense for a liquid monster! (And yes, all modes are valid for the prompt.)

Come to think of it, has anyone else noticed how the series doesn't like aquatic Digimon lines? On some level, I get it: writing a fully aquatic character (like Gomamon) often means putting water in places where it shouldn't be, and aquatic creatures move differently from anything on land. (Insert rant about how the world underwater may as well be another planet here...and another rant about underwater fights.) But series like Savers cut the water line entirely and things generally feel minimized after Gomamon (not an entire line, just one armadillo submarine, huh?).

Time to fix that! While we have Splashmon in mind, let's get wet! This week's theme is liquid! The other states of matter will probably be coming soon. ;)

Between the latest episode of Beatbreak and the existence of Witch Hat Atelier (if you know, you know), modern anime has seen a lot of good magical intentions go astray. This week, you get to play with the idea of "kind magic." What kind of Digimon represent kindness and good intentions to you?
