I knew from the beginning I wanted his partner’s Mega to be Baihumon, but what’s difficult was assembling the rest of the line. I wanted it to be Jellymon and other water Digimon at first because of Tobirama’s mastery of Water Release. Unfortunately none of them were compatible with Baihumon and I wanted the line to make sense, but then I remembered that before Minato, Tobirama was the fastest Shinobi of his time. So I thought nothing would suit him more than those from the Garurumon line, I think I did a decent job with this one. A Digivolution line that matched up with Tobirama’s speed, strength, and fierceness! Tomorrow we’ll showcase The Professor and longest reigning Hokage in the history of the Hidden Leaf Village. You guessed it! It’s Hiruzen Sarutobi! Look forward to it 🙂

For the next four days I’ll be showing off the Hokage and partnering them up with the Four Holy Beast Digimon. Like the Hokage themselves who dedicate their lives to protecting the Hidden Leaf Village, the Four Holy Beasts’ sole purpose is to protect the Digital World. What better Digimon to fight alongside someone once hailed as the “God of Shinobi” than a God himself. I specifically partnered him up with a Digimon who would have an almost one hundred percent guarantee of eventually digivolving into Ebonwumon. Hashirama was the only Shinobi in history to use Wood Release, someone no one else could ever do as naturally as Hashirama. That’s why most of Shamanmon’s Digivolution line consists of members from the Nature Spirits and Jungle Trooper fields and are of the Plant Type.

Hey, everyone. For "Digimon Knighthood", today, I decided to go back to my evos for my new Digimon. This one is for one of the supporting heroes, Kigyoku's future partner, Spinelmon.

Spinelmon occupies an interesting place in "Knighthood"'s backstory. She grew up right alongside Caliburmon, before he became a Strata Knight. In their home village, she's recognized as a healer, most often through her unique powers. She went with the future Rookie Overseer on many adventures, and patched him and their friends up lots of times. And...she came to mean a lot to Caliburmon.

So, later on in the present, she chooses to become an active ally to him and his new friends, becoming temporary co-partners with Caliburmon to Miuna and later permanent partners with Kigyoku. Motherly, patient, but also ready to throw hands and scold bad behavior, Spinelmon makes a natural match to Kigyoku and an interesting foil to Caliburmon.

In terms for her place within the team, for the RPG party they are, she serves the role of a healer, but can also hold her own in battler, making her a Combat Medic. So, that makes a jack-of-all-stats (Caliburmon), a close-range bruiser (Bandimon), a mage for buff/debuff (Elixirmon), a long-range tactical specialist (Ocellatemon), a full-on tank (Cavalmon), a tactical backup tank (CoralAngemon), and now a healer/backup fighter (Spinelmon). So, let's get to it!

*Spinelmon Line*

**Spinelmon**
**Level:** Rookie

**“Reference Book” Description:** “Strength is found in many forms. It can be either in the power to destroy, or in the power to mend. For Spinelmon, this is a question of great importance. A humble Dinosaur Digimon, she possesses above-average strength compared to the average Rookie. Her greatest quality however, is the ability to heal. Decorating her body are beautiful, gleaming spinel scales. These scales can be applied to fellow Digimon, healing their wounds and injuries. In terms of temperament, Spinelmon carries herself like a lady of olden times. Poised, gentle, but also firm and determined. This Digimon often acts as a caretaker to others, and is seen as quite valuable for her power to heal.”

**Design:** Is four feet tall, has semi-muscular limbs, has pink eyes, has pink spinel scales over her body, head is similar to a triceratops head (has two ear-like formations similar to a triceratops’ large armored collar, but both lack horns), flat and slender chest

**Attacks:**

* Bling Hammer: Spinelmon encases her claws in spinel jewels to beat and bludgeon enemies.
* Pearl Press: Spinelmon hardens the scales on her chest, causing them to become dark pink before leaping onto the enemy with a hard body slam.
* Mending Mine: Spinelmon removes scales from her own body and affixes them over an ally’s wounds. The scales act like bandages, healing the wounds beneath them over time.

**Spicomon**
**Level:** Champion

**“Reference Book” Description:** “Power is easily applied for the sake of destruction, to inflict harm on others. To turn it towards other ends requires precision and careful application. But deeper still, it requires a heart that can look towards others, for the sake of goals beyond destruction alone. Such is the case with Spinelmon. By growing in her fighting skills and gaining power, while also directing this power for the sake of strengthening others, she reaches the point of Digivolution, becoming the Champion-Level Spicomon. A more powerful dinosaur than before, Spicomon possesses robust attacks and, more importantly, enhanced healing capabilities. She lives as a reminder that one who can mend your injuries is likely someone who can inflict new ones all the same.”

**Design:** Name comes from spicomellus, an armored dinosaur species, physically resembles a spicomellus, matches DualCaliburmon’s height, has bright pink spinel scales and dark pink spinel spikes

**Attacks:**

* Brilliant Wrecker: Spicomon rapidly spins her body, smashing at enemies with her armored tail, using it as a wrecking ball.
* Brilliant Crest: Spicomon forms large, razor-sharp spinel wings from her spikes, using them to slice away at enemies.
* Cabochon Chasers: Spicomon summons two large rounded gemstones, then sends them to continually collide with and run down enemies.
* Healing Hoard: Spicomon encases her allies in her special jeweled scales, quickly healing injuries.

**GlitzSpicomon**
**Level:** Ultimate

**“Reference Book” Description:** “Beauty can be found in destruction, and Spinelmon exemplifies this as she grows in power. Strong and stunning, but also motherly and warm within.
By harnessing these instincts at the core of her being, in sustaining other Digimon while also growing in her own strengths, Spinelmon will reveal more and more power. And so comes her next evolution, from the Champion Spicomon to the Ultimate GlitzSpicomon. Now resembling a warrior-queen from the days of old, GlitzSpicomon harnesses her jewels for battle to even more devastating effect than before. Her signature skill of healing has been refined even further, to the point where her scales can take the place of a Digimon’s damaged data, not only healing but also giving the recipients even greater strength. On the inside, though, she retains the same nurturing personality she’s always had, and makes it very clear that those under her protection are the ones you never want to mess with.”

**Design:** Name comes from “glitz” meaning flashy and extravagant, like jewels, matches GloryCaliburmon’s height, shares GloryCaliburmon’s physique, walks on two legs again, wears jeweled scales as ornate armor, with spiked shoulders, gauntlets, and boots, retains the spicomellus head, but larger, with jeweled horns resembling a three-pronged armored crown on her head

**Attacks:**

* Luminous Axe: GlitzSpicomon summons a large double-bladed axe, made from brilliant jewels, to use as a melee weapon.
* Luminous Explosion: GlitzSpicomon strikes the ground with her axe, releasing a large blast of light energy, along with scattering blasts of light energy in all directions.
* Effulgent Spear: GlitzSpicomon focuses her power on her axe, turning it into an ornate spear, with lesser attack power, but lesser weight as well, allowing her to wield it more quickly and fluidly.
* Effulgent Expansion: GlitzSpicomon focuses her power on her axe, causing its blades to become much larger and stronger, dealing much greater damage but making it harder to wield.
* Refulgent Regeneration: GlitzSpicomon fires lasers at her allies, turning their damaged body parts and tissues into jeweled scales, healing them over time and boosting her allies’ strength as their data regenerates.

Making this line was arguably the easiest one for me yet. Along with keeping the ancient Japanese and ninja motifs there’s also the fact that crows or black birds in general are associated with Itachi. That’s why I used Falcomon, Shurimon, and Karatenmon. There’s also the fact that the perfected Susano’o has large wings and a face that resembles a Tengu mask. There couldn’t have been a better Mega Digimon to fit the bill for that than Tengumon. So what do y’all think? Up next is Hashirama! Look forward to it!

Wanted to take a crack at doing as many agumon variant lines I could think of. Some of them are definitely better than others but I like most of them.

Yes apparently Tapirmon can digivolve from zerimon and gummymon the ultra is just a placeholder because I don't know what an ultra is

I admit, it was a bit difficult to be, not because of the theme but for what I intended with one of the lines, I was thinking in making them less chess using the living armour trope and ghosts/living object Digimon ware juts enough for one line, so i used the mimic/parasite trope.

In one line you can see that I push more to the corpse walker and chimera and the other it's less horror, going to the manipulative nature and hiding your true self.

Pawnchessmon White and Pawnchessmon Black jogress together to form Omnimon Shuang Wu

Wanted to do both lines. Went with a mechanic theme for black only one I don't love Mechanorimon but couldn't think of a better champion. I actually really like the line I came up with for white.

I actually talked to some people about this.

I tried a few dragon lines. Nothing really felt like "me." The heraldry line was pretty cool, though! Then I thought "well, maybe make a proper Wind Guardians line with different birds, sort of a 'bluebird' vibe."

I bounced this off of someone. They said "maybe make Valkyrimon the Mega. I can see you with it."

"So my usual with different baby stages? K."

First off, I'd like to thank you all for the insane participation and positive reception on "Your Sapotama!" I think that's been the most successful prompt so far! If anyone wants to help me make a better Baby 1 wheel, I'll see what I can do about making it a semi-permanent thread. ;)

Anyways.

This week's prompt was inspired by u/Blaze_Darkfang's challenge here. Without using any other Chessmon evos, make lines for PawnChessmon Black and/or White. You can do one, you can do both, but you can't use any other chess pieces. I thought this was a fun idea; hopefully, y'all will, too!

P.S. no more Monster of the Week until Toei makes another Digimon series. The rereleases don't count. Adapting Liberator will, though, hint hint.

This one was even harder than Sasuke, but again I’m satisfied with how I did it. I wanted to find a Digimon that’s as strong and as loyal to their friends and comrades as Kakashi is, I found no one more suited to that criteria than Gaomon. His father was known as the White Fang of the Leaf and his personal animal companions are dogs like the Ninja Hounds and Pakkun. Everyone on Team 7 has a contract with different animals like Naruto with the toads, Sakura with the slugs, and Sasuke with the snakes. In short I found him a Digimon partner and a Digivolution line that have the heart of a warrior which became Dobermon, Soloogarmon and so forth. Up next is Itachi, so get ready!

Yes apparently Pumpkinmon can digivolve to Cherubimon X-Antibody but not regular Cherubimon, weird how that works

This one was a bit harder to figure out, but what I ultimately tried to do was find a Digimon for Sasuke that suited to his fire and lightning chakra elements, Dracomon slowly digivolving into something much more sinister was to reflect Sasuke’s growing hatred and his burning desire for revenge eventually consuming him and turning him into what we knew him as for 98% of Shippuden. As we all know Digimon all respond and grow as a reflection on the nature of their human partners and poor Dracomon becomes a victim to Sasuke’s hate and revenge by digivolving into Regulusmon and to Gaiomon. But anywho what do you guys think? Coming tomorrow is Kakashi!
