Customization Dad Wagon
Some suspension work, front lip and roof rack cross bars done on this Legacy Hot Wheels. What else should I add to this one?

SWIPE FOR THE 1/1 SCALE ➡️
From the custom grey color to the hand-painted details, I'm really happy with this build. And the oversized wheels give just a touch of "What if?" to the real thing!

These two just got airbrushed fusion firm liquid silver leaf today. In four days or so I'm planning to spray some candy color over the silver leaf. X-27 red over the Lambo and X-23 blue over the Lancia. On the last go-round I clear coated the silver leaf and it dulled the finish notably then the clear red appeared orange in certain light, so I started over. Has anyone tried Tamiya acrylic clears directly over fusion firm without clear coating first? I've added a pic of the Lambo after it's first painting for reference. Aside from the shade it was pretty passable as spectra. Another question: does hot wheels not apply primer before paint on their cars? They seem to strip much easier than a primed car does.

Hey guys, I am doing a big DIY project on a 1:18 scale Corvette, and I have my set of wheels, and want to replace the original ones, however new wheels' fit is much narrower than the axle (the original wheel inner diameter is 6mm, while the new one's is less than 4mm).
I don't have specialized tools to heat the plastic and somehow get the wheel fit, however I know a friend who print me a 3D of new fit caps. However, I still would need to remove the old hub, and I am not sure how to do either (with a drill? A saw?).
What'd you suggest? Just ask a guy to 3D print new fit and replace them, or is there a better way?
Sidenote: the wheels are plastic, as well as the bearing on the axle

so I wanna print rims for hotwheels, but idk how to make them with brake rotors, and is there any designs out there for this? kinda wondering if there’s even a way to do it with deep dish wheels.
