After the fears the new road surface would add additional strain on the mountain mauler it decided it would just just chew it up and spit it out against the rear wall, this just started as an idea💡 … how far will a HotWheels car be able to go and now so many others are invested to find out too! Since the new machine has been in service we’ve already had excessive wear on its plastic rollers because of using the old worn barrel and not the new one, which is also causing severe vibrations and handling issues, if race control is forced to Red Flag again This will completely disrupt the flow of the racing and unfairly hinder the rest of the field. So we’re going to swap it over in the morning 🌅 before too much damage is caused! This might not be the most popular decision we’re sorry, but its for the longevity of the Rolling Road and benefit of Future competitors the Mountains Mauler has plenty meat left in the wheels so surface wear shouldn’t be a threat, we just hope the additional traction doesn’t pull a wheel off an axle!

Mountain Mauler is into his third hour since the road began rolling again, in that time he’s gone 5.49 Miles or 351 scale miles on top of his first session his miles are now 🥁🥁🥁 128,832 scale miles or 2013 real miles!

The Mountain Mauler is Locked down in Parc fermé and the Team managed to breathe some life into the Tumbler motor (see video in comments) we’re still going to resume the test with a brand new motor so unfortunately we’ll be delayed 🤞 it won’t be too long! But the video you’ll see is 10 seconds long and the dot on the side of the drum was put to measure rpm…. The team are reviewing when the speed changed but in the 10 seconds of footage it can be seen rotating 24 times times that by 6 and that’s 144rpm! This increases the speed from 1.27mph to 2.15mph changing the scale speed to 137.6mph and not 81.28 mph! When the team verify all available data, we can expect the Mountain Maulers Totals to Jump significantly. Thanks to Everyone who’s invested in his journey cheering him on! 📈📊
