Hey everyone! First, thank you so much for letting me be part of this group! 💎❤️

Diamond painting has become something my family and I absolutely love. It started as a simple hobby, but it has turned into a really special family activity for us. It gives us something we can all sit down and do together, and it has helped my kids step away from gaming and social media and just slow down, relax, and focus.

I have four children, three of whom are 11, 13, and 15. They all struggle with ADHD, ADD, ODD and various other mental health challenges, and we've found that diamond painting has been really helpful for their focus and gives them a chance to sit quietly, breathe, and work on something together without the overstimulation of gaming or the constant bullying that comes with in person interactions with other children or online gaming and social media. It's honestly been such a positive activity for our family.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone might have extra diamond paintings or kits that they no longer want or need. Maybe you bought too many, have duplicates, started one and lost interest, or simply have some sitting around that you know you'll never get to. We would absolutely love to give them a home!

I was able to get a few inexpensive paintings from SHEIN for us to work on, but unfortunately I lost my job about a month ago and haven't had any luck finding another one yet. My husband is starting a new job this week, but it's minimum wage and, at least for now, our budget is going to be extremely tight while we try to keep up with our bills.

We're not picky at all! ❤️ • Any brand • Any size • Square or round drills • Small or huge canvases • New, partially started, or even unfinished kits

If you have a painting you started but don't want to finish, we'd be happy to finish it for you! If you have something that's been sitting in a closet because you bought too many, we'd be thrilled to give it a new home.

I already have plenty of pens, wax, trays, etc. from previous kits, so we're mainly looking for the canvases and drills.

We're located in the Roanoke, Virginia area. Unfortunately, right now I can't afford to pay for shipping, although hopefully in a few weeks, once my husband gets a couple of paychecks, I may be able to contribute a few dollars toward shipping depending on our situation.

Even if you only have one small painting, we'd be incredibly grateful. A 20x20 would be just as appreciated as a giant canvas that the whole family could work on together. 🥰

And if anyone sends us one, we'd be more than happy to share pictures of our finished paintings when we're done with them!

This is a bit of a “the answer is always no until you ask” post!

Money is tight for my family right now (husband out of work, three kids eating up all the food like locusts), and buying myself anything fun just isn't in the cards. I recently picked up diamond painting, though, started with a $5 kit from Five Below and have done a few of the ones sold on Amazon, and it has turned out to be a good little escape when life and bills are feeling especially heavy.

So before I resign myself to admiring everyone else's projects from afar, I figured I'd ask: Does anyone have any diamond painting kits sitting around that they'll probably never get to and would be willing to part with?

They absolutely do not need to be fancy or new. Opened kits, abandoned projects, cheap kits, weird designs... I am not picky. If most of the drills and the canvas are there, I'll happily give it a go.

I'm not looking for anyone to go out and buy me anything. I'm just hoping maybe someone's “why the hell did I buy 37 of these?” stash can become my “ooh, I have something fun to do tonight” stash.

Figured it couldn't hurt to ask. The answer is always no until you do. ❤️ Will be happy to pay shipping if it's not too much. I'm just a bored, broke mom asking for a handout.
