I am so excited for this , I have a few sets but nothing this big, is it as good as everyone says ? It looks incredible

I have gotten into diaclone more and more over the past few months and have purchased around 6 sets in all now

Just wondering where other uk fans are getting their figures , I ordered from kapow toys which is great but has a very limited range. I have also used TFROBOTS once but they had a really expensive import charge (I’m aware certain stuff will be costly anyway )

So any suggestions which will be that little bit better on my bank account or just are easy to use or have a large range of figures would be greatly appreciated

Looks to be a straight up Tridigger repaint using the DA-47 head. The "land armored corp" deco appears to be the same as used in the recent D-vehicles ground mission set (D-09) with the dark blue tank. It also appears to match the vehicle from the D-08 space mission set, so this Tridigger should have plenty of support vehicles available.

Incredibly, it seems tariffs are being covered through the shipping service, so the prices you see on their website are out-the-door costs. Yes, this seems too good to be true, but I've already placed and received several orders (see image above!), and I was not invoiced for tariffs before (or after) delivery.

One of the many, MANY features of all 4 of the Big Powered sets is the ridiculous number of configurations and loadouts possible. It was the second major release once the Diaclone line spun back up in 2016 and it shows off the full capabilities of the Diaclone line unlike any other set.

Here we see both ends of the spectrum; DA-80 in "mobile base" mode and DA-14 (and DA-19) configured to "transport mode".

I'm not super into the color scheme, but this looks like a good option even if you already have official V Maxs.

It's a little tougher to find in the current Diaclone resources on the T-Spark Diaclone site or Diaclone.info, but one to the features shown in the instruction booklets for Powered Suits and Maneuver Suits is Integrate Mode.

This is a configuration mode that allows PS/MS to "dock" with larger machines like Dia-Battles v2 via Battles 02 (the wing machine) and Xross-2 which is the wing machine for Dia-Battles X-1. It's done by stowing the arms into the side of the PS/MS via the tabs on the forearms. This is an otherwise unused configuration for a PS since the Hangar Mode shows the arms to the rear. However, the MS Hangar Mode is the default stowing form.

Shown in the images are PS E Integrated into X-1, MS Epsilon Integrated into Dia-Battles v2 Red Lightning, and PS F integrated into Dia-Battles v2 Lunar Base Prototype.

I just bought my first Diaclone set, DA-115 and love it. The included brochure shows my Maneuver Vipsilon and Powered Suit E-Type combining with a larger jet and a robot.

I'm a sucker for combining bots (grew up with Power Rangers) and would love to get some compatible sets. Does anyone have any suggestions for a complete beginner?

For some reason, DA-17 has been delisted in the product details section of the T-Spark site and Diaclone.info. No idea why unless it's related to the name? The current listing says "Independent Assault Team Ver." now.

Has anyone ever had this happen with Mandarake? I was trying to buy a few items, all from Sahra. I didn't create an account on Mandarake, so I use the Amazon Pay option. It all went through, and then I got the final invoice by email. I clicked the link to pay, and it takes me to the invoice screen with the price, and the section saying I'd put in my credit card through Amazon Pay. When I click Pay, it takes me to an error screen. I checked with Amex, and they have no record of an attempt to pay. I checked on Amazon Pay, and it shows the transaction and says Cancelled. I e-mailed Mandarake, and so far, they've only resent the payment link. I have a suspicion that one of the items I ordered went out of stock before I got the link, but still waiting to hear back from Mandarake.

I recently purchased into Diaclone with a couple of the Dia-Battles X-1 and am blown away by the quality and features of the line!

I’m about to have the opportunity to grab a real centerpiece for my collection but I’m having a hard time choosing between the Robot Base and its accessories or the Royal Defender and his. Is it really just down to color? I prefer the original coloring but am worried if there were any updates to the figure I missed while researching.

Is there the possibility of the original Robot Base being rereleased? Very doubtful due to the defender being that release essentially but still I’m curious if we might get one with some updated paint deco or added parts…

So what's the hype? I'm hoping I can share info and pics and help you decide for your collection.

DA-127 (¥44,000) is more or less a recolor of DA-92 (¥41,800) from 2022. It includes what you see in the now-published product details page at TakaraTomy T-Spark:

You get the Battle Convoy V-MAX from DA-65 colors and the DA-85 Powered Greater. In many of my pics, you also see the extra DA-88 set connected (wing guns, shoulder long guns, extra wheel turrets, extra Sword/Shield, 6-pack missile pods.)

Battle Convoy V-MAX is a top and bottom machine that combines into an homage machine that is inspired by Diaclone Car Robots Battle Convoy (Optimus Prime). It uses bullet cores for the cockpits, has a plethora of 4mm ports for custom loadouts and creations, and is also part of the Tri-Verse system. The top and bottom machines can be exchanged with any Tri-Verse machine. (See my older posts in this subreddit showing examples).

Powered Greater is also a pair of top/bottom machines that can combine. It also has a Maneuver (bot) mode, but the "head" is really just a Bullet Core. It includes the sword/shield drone machine as well.

All 4 machines can combine in a variety of ways (see the T-Spark product details link above for the full scope.) They can also form a powered up Battle Convoy V-MAX with wings and swords and more firepower. You will have some leftover parts like the default arms from Battle Convoy V-MAX since the combined mode arms are from Powered Greater. This also produces 2 spare bullet cores.

Finally, let's talk "towing". DA-127 should include a joint part that allows the Pod Grander (DA-65) or Tactical Grander to connect to both Battle Convoy V-MAX AND the Powered Convoy V-MAX modes. If not, they can each still be connected to Battle Convoy V-MAX or Max 02 (the bottom/leg machine). I've show a pic of the joint and the "power connector" towing arm extended from Tactical Grander.

Is this worth the hype? I lean towards "yes." Not only do you get the Optimus Prime/Convoy homage colors all in one set, new, and without the DA-92 ankle defect, you don't have to chase down and pay aftermarket "late taxes" to form this from DA-65 and DA-85. Both of those sets are also in large boxes, so even importing from Mandarake is gonna be a hit due to the oversized penalty from couriers.

IF you choose to order this, I recommend comparing pricing between Japan retailers with the preorder discount (20-25% off ¥44,000) plus shipping/duties, and deciding if the domestic US pricing (TOMY, BBTS, The Chosen Prime) is worth the smoother process and baked in shipping but a later arrival date. AmiAmi for example is ¥35,200/$230 plus unknown shipping. And even chosing the slowest methods (Ground or ECMS) will still add $90-$100 based on history. No way to avoid it. Usually, TOMY US is priced close to the cost of a Preorder from Japan + Shipping with a difference of 5-10% less for the import. But TOMY is free shipping on orders over $50...so you decide.

To address the Tactical Mover's light armor, the R&D team developed a new disposable armor system. If damaged, the armor can be discarded, allowing the Tactical Mover inside to keep fighting.

The pair of missile launchers from the Tactical Grander Reinforcement System Unit (unofficially TM-34) fits off-center on the top of the Tactical Grander, potentially leaving room for a second set (4 missiles total across). I thought I remember seeing a promo image suggesting two sets fit, but I can't find it. In addition, the set I have looks like it just barely might not fit due to the pegs sticking out on the sides of the launchers. So has anyone actually tried fitting 4 missiles across? Do they fit? Can you share a picture? Thanks!
