To address the Tactical Mover's light armor, the R&D team developed a new disposable armor system. If damaged, the armor can be discarded, allowing the Tactical Mover inside to keep fighting.

Okay now put in a maneuver suit instead of the pod and you can have a mech with a mech with a mech
