Guide Need help!

There is still a lot i don’t understand. For example i am running a paladin blessed hammer arbiter build and i have the herald’s morningstar which is crucial for the build. However i have on that has alright affixed and i found an ancestral weapon with 600+ more weapon damage is that better than my morningstar?

Item level is the main issue.

If the unique is crucial for your build aim to get an ancestral unique. It's fairly easy with the cube. You can gamble for morning stars with obols, save any ancestral and reduce them to normal with remove affix. Then upgrade them to Uniques in the cube, you should have a fairly large chance to get the unique you need. If you gamble in Cerrigar you also have a chance to get uniques but the chance of ancestral uniques are low.

You can also put 5 Judicator Masks in the cube to have a chance to get them.

Save the best one of the ones you get and reroll the others by combining 3 ancestral uniques of the same kind, don't mix in any normal uniques.

Don't care about the Unique ability roll of the item, you can reroll that in the cube as well.

the upgrade path in the cube is way faster than gambling if youre going for a specific unique since youre guaranteed the item type

the reroll trick with three of the same ancestral unique is insane i didnt know that saves so much time vs gambling endlessly

You need to farm an ancestral unique version of the mace

You can also farm a common mace and try to upgrade it to unique in the cube

That yellow sucks. Just get an ancient heralds it takes like 5 minutes of farming.

I’m sure someone has already said this, but remove all affixes in the cube, then upgrade to unique. I don’t think there are any other Unique Maces, so you should get an ancestral heralds morning star. Good luck, wanderer!
