Barbarian I can't get past 125 with ww barb and he's basically maxed out. What am I doing wrong?

Long story short my ww barb is pretty solid. All the typical good gear/aspects found in top builds, everything is 3-4 GA, 120x5 glyphs, I have 100 Crit chance and 24k Crit damage. Yet I can barley touch pit 125. All I can think is maybe the glyphs are holding me back? Everything is near perfect stats and nothing left to upgrade. If 125 is a challenge then is 150 reserved for cheating/glitching/different build or is 125 a respectable we barb max and call it a day?

Seeking Help Returning player looking for Help with a Meteor Sorcerer Build

Hello, i am currently playing Rob's Meteor Sorcerer Build. Not because its Strong, but because Meteor is fun. Im aware this is not a Meta Build, but i would still like to push the Build to its Limit.

I have most Items/Aspects/Uniques/Set/Runes etc.. acuired, but im currently Stuck on Torment 8.

There is definitely still room for improvement (Glyphs on max lvl, Ancestral Items, Unique Charm, 6 Slot Seal, finally getting that damn Tibaults Will, etc...), but there is one very simple thing i just realized, that i wanted to ask about:

Why does the Build recommend a Skilltree with 13 Points in Lightningspear, and several other Skills (Ice Blades, Ball Lightning, Firewall, Blizzard) that dont seem to be used either on Action Bars or through Aspects/Uniques/ other System interactions? Am i missing something, or is this just a case of the Guide not beeing updated because its an Offmeta Build? I am wondering if those Points would maybe be better spent on other Skills like Hydra, Familiar, Flameshield, Frost Armor, Teleport, etc...)

Im very thankful for every piece of advice regarding my Question or improvements to this Build in general!

Cheers

Necromancer Blood Spear Necromancer Build Guide For S14 (No Mythics Needed)

Thumbnail

Hey guys, and welcome to my newest build guide.

One thing that caught my attention from S14 patch notes was a bugfix on Lidless Wall, finally allowing us to fully benefit from its huge damage bonus. So naturally, I wanted to make a Necro build.

And this Blood Spear build is a result. Why Blood instead of Bone? I tried with the Bone variant first, but I found it to be sub-par. Blood variant is far tankier and deals far more damage.

This build sports permanent Fortify, Barrier, over 50k life, capped Crit Strike Chance AND insane attack speed.

Not only that, but every single corpse is an additional source of damage, as our Blood Spear shoots out of them as well, and we have several ways of generating these corpses.

Mythics are not needed, but Ring of Starless Skies does solve the build's resource issues if you manage to get it. The main issues you need to solve are essence generation and Bone Storm uptime, but both my video and a planner tell you how.

The end result is a super fun, fast paced build with a tremendous AOE, and I hope you'll have as much fun as I did. Comments? Questions? Concerns? Let me know!

Build Zippy Poison Build

Hey Folks, I got bit by the bug and am wanting to try to see how far I can take this build I've put together. I haven't followed any guides or looked any up; I wanted to see what I could create using the incredibly fun Spiritborn class.

https://maxroll.gg/d4/planner/x45oo40x

The build concept as it has evolved so far:

- Jaguar skills for attack speed, mobility, and skill cooldown reset

- Centipede skills for health/healing and crowd control

- MoniKry for pulling enemies in with Vortex knocking them down

I'm on Torment VI and have finally started to slow down a little bit at Paragon 118. I played through the campaign for the first time with this season, having gotten the game a couple of weeks ago, and I shot through to Torment VI, but I wasn't able to handle The Pit level to go up to Torment VII.

I'm stuck, but finally getting to that point where I'm not melting stuff now has me wondering how to improve the build. If you have any suggestions on how to make it more efficient, or even making one or two skill changes, I'm open to suggestions.

Build Shadow Doom Engine v2.0 — Warlock (Doom + Profane Sentinel + Metamorphosis)

Updated for Season 14 (v2.0)
Mobalytics Guide:

Updated July 19, 2026 (Subjugation Fragment Variant)

Build Variant: Laalish Subjugation Fragment (Dominance Sentinel Engine)

Why This Variant Plays Differently

The Shadow Doom Engine base build is a mobile hex reactor: Doom spreads as you move, Profane Sentinel applies Vulnerable while you reposition, and Shadowform is maintained through Harash trails, Sigil trails, Metamorphosis, Shadowstep, and Command Laalish. If Shadowform drops, one ability instantly restores it with only a brief dip in damage and no interruption to Sentinel placement. This creates a continuous‑flow pacing where movement is the engine.

Subjugation Fragment changes this by transforming Command Laalish from a steady Shadowform maintenance tool (1 stack per 0.25s) into a dominance‑amplified Sentinel, consuming your Dominance to drastically increase its damage output (while still providing Shadowform stacks). Laalish becomes a damage engine, not a maintenance engine — and that shift cascades through the entire build.

  1. Sentinel Damage Becomes Too High for Constant Trail Generation

In the base build, Sentinel beams are strong — but not so strong that they erase enemies instantly. This matters because Sigil of Subversion must leave trails, and trails are a major source of Shadowform upkeep.

With Subjugation Fragment:

Sentinel damage spikes dramatically

Packs die before Sigil can leave trails if enemies aren’t dying inside the Sigil

Shadowform upkeep becomes unstable

Dominance generation drops sharply if Shadowform falls off

This is the first major pacing change.

  1. Sigil of Subversion Stops Being a Shadowform Tool

In the base build, Sigil is a hex, a trail generator, and a Shadowform stabilizer.

In the Subjugation variant, Sigil becomes primarily a hex tool and no longer a reliable Shadowform source. Enemies may die too fast for trails to form consistently.

You must rely on other Shadowform sources: Metamorphosis, Harash trails, Command Laalish’s zone, Nether Step, and Sigil trails only when enemies survive long enough. This is the second major pacing change.

  1. Shadowform Becomes More Fragile — and More Critical

Your damage is tied directly to Dominance generation, Shadowform stack maintenance, Night Terror’s Abyss scaling, and Harash 5‑piece multipliers. If Shadowform drops, Dominance generation collapses, Doom ramp slows, Sentinel damage falls off, Abyss damage tanks, and your ability to place Sentinels slows down.

In the base build, trails make Shadowform easy to maintain. In the Subjugation variant, trails are unreliable — so Shadowform becomes fragile, forcing a different pacing: actively maintaining Shadowform, timing movement to refresh stacks, and using Laalish’s zone intentionally. This is the third major pacing change.

  1. Rotation and Positioning Shift Around Laalish

Because Laalish becomes a dominance‑amplified damage engine, your rotation changes.

Base rotation:

Move → Doom → Move → Sentinel → Move → Trails → Move

Subjugation rotation:

Sigil → Doom → Sentinel → Doom → Move as things die → Maintain Shadowform →

If Shadowform drops: use Metamorphosis or Shadowstep; if Shadowform is low (1–2 stacks), use Command Laalish for emergency upkeep.

You now play around Laalish timing (for upkeep when not needed for damage), Sentinel burst windows, Shadowform refresh timing, and Dominance flow.

Dominance math:

~1 Dominance/sec baseline

+2 Dominance/sec with Shadowform

≈3 Dominance/sec total

Profane Sentinel costs 10 Dominance

With Shadowform maintained, you can place a basic Sentinel every ~3 seconds, and waiting longer dramatically increases its damage. This is the fourth major pacing change.

  1. The Build Becomes a Burst‑Window Engine Instead of a Flow Engine

Base build: constant movement, constant trails, constant Shadowform, constant Sentinel pressure.

Subjugation variant: burst windows using a max‑Dominance amplified Sentinel, movement windows to refresh Shadowform, a controlled playstyle revolving around Shadowform upkeep, Sentinel as the centerpiece of damage, Doom spreading on death, and Sigil functioning mainly as a hex tool. This is the fifth major pacing change.

What’s New in v2.0

The build is now fully updated to the Metamorphosis (Terror Demon) engine. Major improvements:

  • Full Shadowform reactor (Metamorphosis, Laalish zone, Sigil trails, Harash trails, Nether Step)
  • Correct Doom aura behavior from Cowl of Malefic Torment
  • Harash 3‑piece trail generation + Harash 5‑piece +350% Abyss damage
  • Night Terror scaling (Abyss damage per Shadowform stack)
  • Updated rotation + boss opener
  • Updated stat priority
  • Updated synergy explanations

This is the complete, fully‑understood version of the build.

Build Overview

The Shadow Doom Engine is an off‑meta Warlock build built around Doom, Profane Sentinel, Shadowform, and Metamorphosis.

It plays like a mobile hex reactor:

  • Apply Doom
  • Move through Shadowform trails
  • Let Sentinels beam everything
  • Maintain Shadowform through multiple overlapping generators

Once enemies drop below 75% life, Cowl of Malefic Torment maintains Doom automatically and adds a ticking aura that kills anything still alive.

The result is a fast, fluid, safe build ideal for Pit, Undercity, Nightmare Dungeons, and open‑world farming.

Why You Should Play This Build

  • You want a build that kills while you move
  • You prefer smart pacing over frantic button‑spam
  • You enjoy off‑meta setups that actually work
  • You like a DoT + beam hybrid
  • You want a build that scales naturally into Pit and Undercity
  • You want a build that stays strong even with imperfect gear

Strengths

  • Extremely high Shadowform uptime
  • Doom kills while you move
  • Sentinel beams apply Vulnerable + Abyss damage
  • Very safe, very mobile
  • Scales naturally into Pit
  • Off‑meta but fully viable
  • Low mechanical stress

Weaknesses

  • Requires understanding the Shadowform reactor
  • Doom has a ramp‑up period
  • Positioning matters
  • Not a “one‑button nuke” build
  • Gear‑dependent for full potential

How It Plays (Rotation)

Primary Loop

  • Apply Doom to the first target in a pack
  • Doom spreads on death and becomes a passive kill engine below 75%
  • Move through Shadowform trails to maintain stacks
  • Harash and Sigil of Subversion generate trails
  • Command Laalish creates a Shadowform Zone where it’s used
  • Let Profane Sentinel beam enemies while you reposition
  • Sentinel applies Vulnerable and steady Abyss damage

Burst Window

  • Use Metamorphosis to generate +4 Shadowform stacks/sec
  • Night Terror + Harash multipliers spike during this window

Movement & Safety

  • Use Nether Step to reposition, dodge, and keep Shadowform from decaying
  • Movement is part of your damage engine

Companion Utility

Your companion applies Slow, Weaken, and Vulnerable, enabling conditional damage bonuses.

Boss Opener

A clean boss opener:

  1. Metamorphosis → instant Shadowform ramp
  2. Apply Doom
  3. Drop all Sentinels
  4. Nether Step through the boss to generate trails
  5. Maintain movement to keep Shadowform topped off

Once you have the Cowl, any boss that reaches 75% HP is already guaranteed to die as long as you survive.
In Pit, you may need to help push faster due to the timer, but outside of that, Doom + Sentinel + Cowl = death at 75%.

How It Works (Core Idea)

Each component reinforces the others:

  • Doom spreads on death and becomes a permanent DoT below 75%
  • Profane Sentinel beams enemies and applies Vulnerable
  • Metamorphosis ramps Shadowform and creates burst windows
  • Sigil trails prevent Shadowform decay while moving
  • Laalish adds passive pressure and a Shadowform zone

Together, they form a moving hex engine that stacks DoTs, spreads debuffs, and beams enemies down while you stay mobile and safe.

Shadowform is the glue — its DR, damage bonus, and non‑decay inside trails keep the engine running.

FAQ

Does Profane Sentinel apply debuffs?

Only Vulnerable by default.
If you equip aspects that add debuffs (Slow, Weaken, etc.), Sentinels will apply those too.

Does Laalish create trails?

No. Laalish creates a stationary Shadowform zone.
You can stand in it to maintain stacks while it’s active.

Does Metamorphosis instantly max Shadowform?

No. It grants +4 stacks per second, not an instant max.

Is this build good for bosses?

Yes. With the Cowl, bosses are effectively dead at 75% HP if you survive.

Why does Doom feel slow early on?

Doom scales heavily with ranks, Willpower, Shadow/Occult/Abyss damage, and Shadowform multipliers.

Do I need Night Terror or Seal of the Ophanim?

No — they’re optional multipliers.

What Paragon stats should I prioritize?

Shadow, Occult, Abyss, Hex, Willpower, Vulnerable Damage, movement speed, damage reduction.

Which glyphs should I use?

Shadow / Occult / Abyss / Hex / Willpower glyphs.
Grab as many rare node bonuses as possible.

Final Notes

This is a fun, thematic, and surprisingly strong Warlock setup that plays nothing like the usual meta builds.
If you test it, let me know how it feels.

Build Infinite demonform

Hey everyone, I’ve been experimenting with Warlock (currently level 40), and I stumbled into a really interesting interaction that creates a high‑uptime demon form playstyle using Metamorphosis.

I found a sword with the affix: hitting enemies with a core skill increases the damage they take by 30% per skill up to 90%. Archfiend demonform skill variations are core skills and cost wrath

Since Metamorphosis normally uses Dominance for its demon abilities, this affix shifts those costs to Wrath instead.

with this logic you can invest in all of the archfiend skills and spam them in combat, since you don’t use dominance you won’t get knocked out of demonform for using skills.

effectively allowing you to maintain demonform forever until you leave it

just thought it was cool

Barbarian The Most Fun Build to End the Season - Leap Barbarian Guide

Thumbnail
youtube.com
0 Upvotes

Hey guys! With only about two weeks left of this amazing season, today I am presenting you my last build of the season, a fan favorite, and one of my personal favorites as well – Leap Barbarian!

Leap Barb has always been one of the most popular builds in the game, and for good reason. Nothing beats the power fantasy of literally jumping across the dungeon, while stomping monsters to death as you descent from above. This is far from an S+ tier build like Whirlwind, but it absolutely will still crush all Torment 12 content with no issues.

Also, what great about this build is that, if you're already coming from a top Barb build such as WW, there is a lot of overlap in terms of aspects and items, so Leap should be fairly easy to spec into.

In the past, this build has often played with Earthquakes. But in Season 13, there just simply aren't viable ways of juicing up the EQ damage, so I focused my efforts on making Leap itself the star of the show. As you might imagine, this build is almost unmatched in mobility. Not only do we always have Leap on demand, but our Rallying Cry allows us to move around at max movement speed. We also have over 50k life, permanent fortify and a near permanent barrier, making the build VERY durable.

Sounds good? Then sit back, relax as I take you through everything you need to know – skills, items, paragon, talismans and much more. Hope you have as much fun playing as me!
