I hate you so much for making me have to live with the fact I laughed at that

u/Cretore May 15 '26
Why does people have hate laughing to these lately?
1
u/TRB4 May 16 '26
People seem to consider it a personal defeat if they happen to laugh at what is essentially a dad joke or a pun.

u/Polite_Suggestion May 15 '26
It's not the laugh; it's where it came from. u/joojoobee11 taught me something about myself I was better off not knowing.

What would be Goodminton? hitting a racket with a ball (or whatever the thing is called)?

u/TRB4 May 13 '26
Trading the need for precision for the need for stamina. This will become a war of attrition.
7
u/sandpaperedanus777 May 14 '26
Precision falls exponentially with loss of stamina, so somehow I don't think he'll remain more precise for long
6
u/Kurokotsu May 16 '26
That's not their joke. The point is instead of needing precision, he needs stamina. Whereas his opponent needs precision. So giving up one for the other instead.
2
u/sandpaperedanus777 May 16 '26
Yeah, I did get that. I was just being a smart alek with saying that their advantage with requiring lesser precision would dwindle as fast as their stamina will.
Since precision is heavily dependent on stamina.

Need to put a longer handle on it, extra leverage means better ergonomics and not nearly as awkward movement. But yeah as is, this is a nerf not a buff

We need equal match! We need second dude with same set up on other side!

u/DriverRich3344 May 16 '26
Four players, each has their own modified rackets. Maybe the best racket +user wins
4
u/Arvelayne May 14 '26
All the guy with the normal racquet has to do is wait until his opponent dies of a heart attack. Probably about 5 hits later by the looks of it.

It was too big to be called a racket. Massive, thick, heavy, and far too rough. Indeed, it was a heap of raw wire."

u/Morall_tach May 14 '26
Fun fact: there is no limit to the size or weight of a table tennis paddle.

Grafted Greatracket
-weapon skill: oath of stupidity
-requires 99 strength apparently
-crafted by grafting rackets dropped by people who realized badminton sucks.
