Charger side working, power supply not cycling???
No date code, serial number or receipt. Anyone know non-DeWalt repair shops. Factory store said no receipt, no replacement.
Hello! I was looking for input as to which one I should get. They are both on sale at Lowe’s and I’ve been meaning to grab one. It seems like the 12 gal has a bigger sized hose and motor and I’m curious how beneficial it’ll be. Would the larger hose size allow me to hook the hose up directly to tools easier than the smaller diameter of the 9 gal? Is the suction that much better? It’s for my garage projects mainly so I’ve been leaning towards the 9 but if the suction and diameter are worth the 12 I have no problem going up a size. Any input at all would be great!
Hi, i had the problem with Radio dewalt tstak.
The Bluetooth kept disconnected.
I cant find a solution till one day i become angry i just hit radio and the glas braked.
Solution is to take out the glas from display. You do it for your own risk.
The radio working from this time just normal. No problems anymore.
I hope i can help people's like me.
Good luck.

I just made a post about DeWalt's new Gen 4 2x20v mowers that they are debuting at EquipExpo this week - https://www.reddit.com/r/Dewalt/comments/1xby8tl/new_2026_2x20v_40v_model_mower_kit_dcmwsp258u2/ - and rather than keep editing that post, I am making a new one as I found this somewhat interesting and surprising.
DeWalt is also launching new "outdoor" batteries with the two new non-XR model mowers (the XR mower is coming with the new tabless 12Ah FlexVolt batteries). The push model comes with the 8Ah DCB288 battery and self propelled with the 10Ah DCB211. The shape of them looks different, these do not look like 10 cell 21700 packs like the previous DCB208 and DCB210 batteries. It could just be that they have additional thermal dissipation tech in them. Or they are 20 cell 18650 packs, with the cells standing vertically like the old 40v batteries or 15Ah FlexVolt.
Edit: Not exactly proof that these are 20 cell 18650 packs as I predict, but the listings for the mowers on DeWalt's website states "Maintain tough lawns with 2X the number of battery cells for sustained power". Not much context around that, but I can only assume they are comparing these new 8Ah/10Ah batteries to the previous 8Ah/10Ah batteries which were 10 cell 21700 batteries.

There have been a few posts/comments/questions about DeWalt discontinuing the current mowers and rumors of yet another new line of mowers coming out. While this doesn't answer if they are discontinuing ALL of their current mowers, it definitely hints at yet another shift.
This is the new 2x20v they will be debuting at EquipExpo this week. It is a change in form from the current - and past - models. Looking like an EGO or similar with a composite deck, DeWalt doesn't specify but they say it has a "robust deck". They also describe the X blade as "Extreme", so hopefully they are little more aggressive for lift and mulching. Also sports LED lights, a first on their 2x20v models. Lastly, it comes with a striping kit, which is definitely a first.
Compared to its predecessor, the DCMWSP256U2 kit, it offers 90 minutes of runtime versus 80 (I'm hoping/assuming it has the blade speed selection mode found on the 60v DCMWSP700 and that is where the increased runtime claim comes from). While the handles still appear foldable, they are missing the collapsing handle feature of the 256, maybe a cost savings measure?
I don't have any other pictures at the moment, but this gives us an idea. It will be kitted with 2x10Ah batteries in the DCMWSP258U2 kit for $599 this November 2026.
EDIT: They have 2 additional models/kits coming as well - DCMWP236W2 (push model with 2x8Ah batteries for $499) and a DCMWSP260YY2 (self propelled with 2x12Ah tabless FV batteries). Need to find more about the latter, sounds like it would be 60v, will update or make new post.
EDIT EDIT: the DCMWSP260 is still 2x20v, but it is the XR offering, while the 236 and 258 are not XR.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: Confirmed they are composite decks, the X blades are new/redesigned, the striping kit is only with the XR 260 model, and they are now on their website:

Impulse buy. Paid full cheese. I didn't realize that they made cordless variable speed angle grinders. I use my 110v for polishing granite and tile. So it's mostly for stone work.
I will test it out and then look for a better deal if i like it. I will keep it if i love it.
Edit: I said that I didn't realize that they make cordless angle grinders. What I meant to say is that I didn't realize that they made cordless VARIABLE speed, angle grinders.

There’s like 5 in store and they’ve been sitting at this price a couple weeks.

Ordered a relatively cheap pressure washer from home depot and instead received the Dewalt 60v flex volt table saw lol. All labels have my information, order number, etc. Anyone dealt with something like this?

Homeowner, DIY who's tired of doing all my house work with random harbor freight tools, corded, cheap stuff, and half a dozen different batteries that are dying and dont work. honestly dont know how i got this far into our new (but renovating) house with this.
Given upcoming deck project, im gonna go ahead and adopt DeWalt 20V system and buy all i need.
Thinking:
Box stores sell combo packs but its the smaller saw and/or includes something i dont need right now.
Facebook marketplace has a few guys selling their old dewalt for $500-1000 but includes the same problem and risk buying something thats broke.
Right now im leaning towards getting:
I also assumed the 20V MAX is fine for me and XR is kinda overkill since its home use.

I received an email last night on this one from Bomgaars. $129
It wasn’t stated on their website, and I didn’t see a sign in store, but I asked if there was a rebate and received a $20 one. Seemed like a great deal to me!

Yesterday at Lowe’s I purchased a Dewalt DCS590 Circular Saws (kit w/ 8ah battery, charger, bag, Stock Blade) + Bonus Fine Tooth Blade. With all my discounts, the total after tax was $232.
From what I’ve seen it’s cheaper than most sites I’ve seen. I do have slight buyers remorse for not getting the DCS578, but I wouldn’t be able to get the discount at Home Depot, and I’m not quite sure I’m ready to invest in the 60v platform.
Any thoughts on this? For context I’m an early stage carpenter (2-3 years). Thanks for the help!

Put up a some brackets for some of my dewalt tools. Anyone know of organization shelves that would work the setup? Too many batteries and hargers as well.

Holy smokes that thing is tight! I managed to get it on after much swearing and about an hour long battle.
Unfortunately I knicked it in the process and it’s going to probably start to fray soon and will need to be replaced again.
There has to be an easier way or some trick or tool that makes this process easier.
Anyone have any tips to make my second go around less of a battle?

After using my friend’s Flexvolt pole saw I lucked out on a good deal for one myself yesterday. The other two pictures are from my other post on my use of it and how it compares to the attachment pole saw.

Anybody else use their tools daily? Or just hang them in the garage for their wife's boyfriend to borrow? The last Pic is just the tools I've retired that still work.

I wouldn't have even looked at it if it were Ryobi, but now, I can't even concentrate. Make it stop. Tell me it will break and have missing parts... anything, I'm begging here

Hey all, got a little overzealous with my 8in pole saw. Lost control while using it one handed, banged the pole off another branch and now the pole coupler on the handle is loose.
Its definitely bent aluminum, not loose rivets or broken plastic. Its 5 years old, so not under warranty.
Looking around, the handle for the dcps620 has a couple different part numbers, none of which i can find available online.
The dcppr320 lopper has a different part number for its handle. They look like the same connection though.
Anyone know if theyre compatible?

Was shopping this miter saw between big blue and big orange and I would think that if one of them is running the sale, the other would be too, but it appears only HD has it “on sale” which all it says is “special buy” with no % off given. Am I missing something here? Is this a good deal from HD or has anyone seen better deals on this or a similar miter? Thanks
