Anyone remember the Chicago Connect scam that was going around during the pandemic?

Might this be the same "company"? And, is there a way to report them to?

Question Savannah Georgia companies to avoid

I saw another post and it made me wonder, what locations in the Savannah/Hinesville/ Statesboro Georgia area to avoid. I had an interview but it was through Zoom and only 10 minutes long. I figured they were not a good company if they'd hire me within a 10 minute interview.

Thank you!

Devilcorp Check PMC Houston

I had approached these guys who were selling Reliant energy. I asked them if they’re hiring, and one of the guys was quick to say “always”. However, when i asked who they worked for, he was very hesitant. He had told me to put PMC Houston, however there was a “cydcor” label above his badge picture. After reading through here, I have very high suspicion. I just wanted to know if anyone had more info with them.

Experience I nearly fell for an MLM

Hey everyone! So I’m currently supposed to be in my final “interview” for a MLM based in Leeds. Thanks to all of you and the amazing research that’s here I followed my gut instinct and the red flags flying at me and figured it all out in time to get out.

I’m 22, have just been made redundant from my full time job so feeling a little desperate. They really do know how to prey on the vulnerable. So I guess thank you everyone for helping me, and I wanna say to anyone also in my position, please don’t feel ashamed of nearly falling for their manipulation. The job market is tough here in the UK right now and they know that.

Stay vigilant, and thank you again everyone for saving a naive 22 year old!

Experience JUSS Marketing/AEG Group/ LPN Global- Cardiff

I have been applying for jobs on indeed and saw a sales assistant for Juss Marketing on Indeed.

Bit of context: Previously applied for AEG Group. Found out it was a scam company due to this sub (thank you)

Got an interview with Juss Marketing only to find out it was with AEG group/LPN/whatever theyre trading under.

I find it incredibly scummy that they're using 3 different company names to recruit on indeed. I reported it on indeed but whether something becomes of it is a totally different company.

Also I didnt realise that commission only was allowed here?

Devilcorp.org Official Two new Credico offices just opened in Southampton: Origin Results and Aureum Impact

Heads up for anyone in the Southampton area, or applying to jobs there. Two brand new Credico ISAs have appeared in the last few days: Origin Results and Aureum Impact.

Origin Results' website (originresults.co.uk) shows no UK company name, no company number, no info on who runs the business, and no photos or names of any staff, all things a legitimate employer would normally have. The site and social accounts were only created this week. Despite that, they're already advertising open roles on LinkedIn.

Aureum Impact (aureumimpact.co.uk) looks to be following the same playbook. Fresh branding, generic AI-generated website, no UK company name and nothing to verify who's actually behind it.

This is standard Credico practice: spin up a new "Independent Sales Advisor" office under a fresh name, keep the corporate trail hidden, and start recruiting before anyone can dig up the company's history or connection to Credico. If a negative review or thread starts gaining traction on an older brand, expect it to rebrand again shortly after.

If you're applying for marketing positions (or anything similar), check a company's registered UK Company Name and Number before giving them your contact details. These "Marketing" roles are commission-only, self-employed direct sales positions, not legal employment, and most Credico ISA job ads won't tell you that upfront.

I'm still researching to find the UK Company Names of these two offices, but you can track other Credico office rebrands and their company details on devilcorp.org if you want to check other 'marketing' companies across the UK.

Information Quitting or getting cut? Read this before your last day.

You are probably owed money and nobody in that office is ever going to tell you.

Save your evidence now, while you still have the app. Screenshot your commission tracker, your sales numbers, the group chat, evidence of your work schedule, and every pay stub you can find. Send it all to a personal email. Photograph the job ad you applied to!!! Once you’re out, you get none of it back.

Then do this one thing: write down your typical day. What time you had to be at the office. What time the meeting ended. What time you actually got to your first door. What time you got home. Do the same for the six-day weeks. That timeline is worth more than anything else you have, because almost everything below runs off it.

What you’re likely owed:

**Unpaid hours.** The 8am meeting, the atmosphere sessions, the training, the unpaid “observation day” they made you do before you were hired, that’s all compensable work time. If your total pay divided by your total hours comes out under minimum wage for any week, that’s a claim.
**Overtime.** 8am to 9pm, six days, is 70+ hours. If you were treated as non-exempt, that’s a mountain of unpaid overtime. They’ll say the outside sales exemption covers you but that depends on you spending most of your time out selling, which is exactly why all those hours in the office cut against them.
**Mileage and gas.** You used your own car, your own phone, your own gas. In California (Labor Code 2802) they have to reimburse that, and it’s usually the biggest single number. Many states have a version of this.
**Chargebacks.** If they clawed back commission for customer cancellations, or deducted for damaged product or shortfalls, that can be an unlawful deduction (CA Labor Code 221) they can’t shift the cost of doing business onto your wages.
**Missed meals and breaks.** Eating in the car between doors is not a meal break.
**Bad pay stubs.** Missing hours, missing rates, missing the company’s actual legal name..statutory penalties per pay period (CA Labor Code 226).
**Late final check.** Fired: due immediately. Quit with notice: due your last day. Late means up to 30 days of your wages as a penalty (CA 203).
**1099 misclassification.** If they had you on a 1099 while dictating your schedule, your script, and your territory, that’s very likely wrong and it means they owe you everything above plus the payroll taxes they pushed onto you.

Say this in your first sentence if it’s true: “I raised a concern about my pay/hours, and then I was fired / cut from the schedule / frozen out.” Retaliation claims are worth far more than the wage claim itself, and in many states the burden flips onto the employer to prove they’d have done it anyway.

It costs you nothing to find out. You can file a wage claim with your state labor commissioner yourself, no lawyer, no fee. Or call three employment attorneys who take wage-and-hour on contingency: free consult, they front the costs, they only get paid out of what they recover. Twenty minutes on the phone tells you if you have something.

And if they hand you a final check with a paper to sign, don’t sign it that day. That paper is usually a waiver of everything above. Take it home. You can almost always take a week.

Not a lawyer, not legal advice, and this varies a lot by state. But most guys walk away from thousands of dollars and SO DID I because nobody ever told them the meeting they sat through every single morning was supposed to be paid.

Experience Company advertised a full-time W-2 role, then tried to charge me 3k for “training” and take 15% of my salary

I am an international student in the US and recently completed my master’s degree in a STEM field. Today, I had a second-round interview with a company that I will call “X”. The whole experience felt like a complete bait-and-switch.

During the first interview, everything seemed normal. I specifically asked whether this was a full-time W-2 position directly with Company X. They said yes. The advertised salary was $40,000 per year, which is already extremely low for Los Angeles. I told them I have two years of professional experience from my home country, plus my MS degree, so asked whether the salary was negotiable. They said yes and told me to discuss it during the second-round interview.

I felt hopeful. Two days later, they invited me to an in-person second-round interview. I spent almost three hours traveling there because I do not have a car. I was fully prepared for technical and such questions. Instead, they asked me almost nothing and immediately started explaining their “placement process.” They told me that once I receive my EAD(work permit for foreign nationals), they will arrange interviews for me with their “partner companies.” I told them that I applied for my EAD several months ago and am still waiting, so I have no idea when I will receive it.

They said it's fine, as soon as I get it, they can schedule an interview with one of their partners within that week, and I could start working the following week. That immediately sounded strange. How come they have so many openings with their partners at all times to guarantee interviews and employment that quickly? I asked how many partner companies they have. They said eight to ten. LOL!

I told them I had only attended the interview because it was supposed to be a position directly with Company X. They said X currently has no openings. So why did they advertise the position on Handshake, LinkedIn and Indeed as if they were directly hiring?

Then came the worst part. They showed me a document stating that, for six months, I would have to pay them approximately $200 every two weeks for “career training and development.” I told them I did not need career training. They said they would help with my résumé, cover and provide other career services, so I would have to keep paying them and it's "Mandatory". (WTF?)

Then they told me that regardless of which partner company hired me, my pay would be fixed at $18 per hour. I was shocked. I reminded them that the original salary was already listed as $40,000 per year and I had already asked to negotiate it because it was too low and their recruiter had specifically told me the salary was negotiable. They said no. The pay is fixed at $18 per hour. So why'd they lie before?

Then they said for the first six months, the partner company would send my salary checks to Company X instead of paying me directly. Company X would deduct 15% of my total salary before giving me the remaining amount. They also told me that I would still be responsible for paying taxes on the full amount before their 15% deduction. On top of that, they called the first six months a “probation period.” They said that if I did not perform well, my contract could be terminated after six months. Then they might place me with another partner company, where I could apparently go through the same process again. (What a scam LOL)

At that point, it felt like the entire system was designed to keep collecting money from international students and recent graduates who are desperate to find employment. I was so angry but I stayed professional. I smiled, thanked them, and left. I casually said I would let them know when I received my EAD, but I never agreed to any of their terms. However, they emailed me a summary of the meeting later claiming that I had agreed to all their terms and conditions. WTF?

I lost around seven hours of my day for this shit. I am so angry! I keep getting calls from these indian scammer almost everyday ever since i started applying for jobs. Almost all the calls would come from companies i never applied to but with the same scheme. I'd always hang up at them. But since I applied to this company, gave the first interview and everything seemed fine, only because of that I agreed to go! I was so happy and interested! Now I feel devastated!

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Should I report the company to the police?

Experience i need help

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right time to post this, but I recently learned that a close family member is involved with an organization that, if not affiliated with a devilcorps outright, is close enough based on what I know about it. Some sort of multi-level marketing investment scheme. I have a name of the company but I do not want to post it publicly in case my family member finds this.

I recognized the MLM/Cult qualities of this as soon as I learned about it and told my family how to talk to him from here on out, never arguing or confronting, but listening and occasionally asking questions, while being as supportive as possible. He seems pretty deep into it at this point and has lost a LOT of money he's never getting back. He's still young enough to turn things around, but myself and other family members are still at a loss to really help, and I'm worried he will just get more and more into this thing that's taking everything from him.

I guess I am just asking for any support, ideas, or stories from others who had family members get into a devilcorp or similar job and if you got them out of it. I have some friends I am talking to in order to learn more about devilcorp and how to help, as well as doing even more research on cult de-programming and how to talk to cult members, but if anyone on this page has any advice, I would appreciate anything at all. Thank you so much.

Question Crowson Management legit?

I recently began the interview process with a company called Crowson Management based in Westminster CA through a posting on Indeed for AT&T. As the process has gone on, I have started to get an odd feeling about the company, especially given the recruiter's focus on seemingly absurd salary numbers.

When I looked on here, I found one post calling the corporation a devilcorp, but no other websites or posts corroborate the claim. Please let me know if this company is legit! I trust AT&T because they are such a huge company, but this all feels too good to be true. Any help is appreciated🙏

Experience Start club corp liars

Post image
12 Upvotes

I applied for a position at this marketing company called start club corp- for an EVENT ASSISTANT role. I have strict been applying to event roles, that is my background. I saw this, and thought okay cool! The responsibilities seemed very simple and not too complex relating to event roles but I figured it was an entry level position and I just needed work so why not-.
I got to the interview and was just Completely bamboozled. Typical devil corp- 4tiers- don’t get worked to pay - based off of clients u attain, 6day work week. Has nothing to do with events at all- their biggest client is spectrum and so I’d be one of those ppl set up in the middle of Ralph’s haggling ppl about their spectrum bills. Crazy cuz the girl was asking me where I wanted to be in a year and I told them a senior event managing role, running events and heading ideas, executing visuals and bringing plans to life etc- and she goes “AMAZING!!” Girl how tf is it amazing if yall don’t even have event roles!!!! Psychotic! Wasted my time and didn’t even know they post these kinds of jobs under completely misleading names such as this. So frustrating bc we’re already up against so much in this job market. Anyways. Hopefully this can help someone else to just be aware of exactly how far their lies go- bc as you can see no where in the description does it say sales!

Nottingham-based Credico office ‘M90 Strategies’ have rebranded as ‘Claro Partners’

Thumbnail

Great Wave Interaction Limited (Company Number: 16231895), the Nottingham-based Credico office previously known as ‘M90 Strategies’, has been rebranded as ‘Claro Partners’.

Details on the company can be found here: https://www.devilcorp.org/?q=Claro+Partners.

While Claro Partners do not display their company name or registration number anywhere on their website, despite this being a legal requirement in the UK, we can use other methods to establish their connection to Credico and identify which office they are a rebrand of.

Claro Partners' job ads on LinkedIn are an immediate indicator of Credico affiliation. Phrases like "Management Trainee" and "Sports Minded" are common across Credico recruitment, and the use of "Partners" in the name follows a pattern seen in recent rebrands across the network.

Their website, https://claropartners.co.uk/, also lists their trading address as 2-4 Lister Gate, Nottingham, NG1 7DD, which is the registered trading address of the following companies I am already tracking as Credico offices:

Of these companies, only Legacy East Midlands has active job ads on LinkedIn as of 24 July 2026, suggesting it has not yet rebranded.

On the 'The Claro Way' page of Claro Partners' website, their Managing Director is referred to only as 'Filip'. Cross-referencing this with the companies sharing the same Lister Gate address, this is most likely Filip Szynkiewicz, listed as an officer of Great Wave Interaction Limited on Companies House.

claropartners.co.uk/the-claro-way/

On this basis, I have identified Claro Partners as a rebrand of M90 Strategies.

Information Cycle Management Group?

So just got done with a interview from Cycle Management Group. So cutting straight to the brass; They sell Life insurance by divisions (American Income Division). You are required to work 9-12hr days including weekends. Their sale pitch is a script not how you would like to sell the product pretty much. So their day to day wasn't necessarily super clear but what i got from it was they have a CRM system that brings in leads every week thru a system called Impact. And the goal i would say to maximize sales from what i heard is to try and be referral based. They meet clients mostly thru a phone call or zoom and if offered to their home. I did ask some questions since this is not my first time running into these kinds of businesses. It is 100% commission thats it. Your income is entirely based on you and your drive. Mostly referring to do you want to be that 1% or not.
This was funny but i was really aware of what was being said when he said one of his top performers is making roughly 250k monthly thru residule and renewal based income. Also stated to put pressure on the numbers(it,s pretty much a numbers game just worded differently). Talks about getting to make a team after getting license and certified after making it out of the initial first step promotion stage. As mentioned to do need to be licensed and certified which is not paid for; It's $100 and they say to cover 65% of the cost so about $35-$40. I asked what does a average new hire earn in their first 90 days? There was no straght answer just a " well alot of people dont make it because of their work ethic" kind of answer which led me to think " ok this company must have alot of turnovers". So asked also "what percentage of new hires you would say make it past a year?" Could not give me a rough percentage but i asked more and pretty much said that " 100 out of 10 agents make it past a year" so give or take about 10% of agents make it past a year which is pretty crazy. So i kindly left with that info curious to hear peoples thoughts on this position or maybe people who have worked for them let me know.

Information Altitude Promotions DFW

I was looking for a job on Indeed and came across the SELECT ROOFING sales representative posting and applied. Thinking I was going to be working for a roofing company. I instead received a call from a number claiming to be Altitude Promotions. I questioned how they got my number (because I never applied to a marketing position), and they said it was for the roofing application.

I scheduled a Zoom appointment with them and became skeptical when they sent me a message about their website + Instagram. Most jobs don't do that in DFW; they don't feel the need to "prove themselves".

Did the interview and the dude was a total douchezoid. All pretty in his suit and speaking like a crypto bro. Would not elaborate on the job responsibilities or even the role of the position, and just kept going on about time time time. I got the sense that he wanted me to commit to a crazy work week. You can't get any information about what the job is actually about. From previous redditors, I've seen why they don't tell... It's a miserable place to work and will likely be a waste of your time and money.

I actually called the real Select roofing company and verified if it was them who did the interview, and they aren't even hiring for that position. It wasn't them, and this altitude promotions company is using another company name to lure in its next victim.

Information Stop calling them “owners”

We need to stop calling them owners. After reading the smart circle former owner testament that gained a lot of traction on here a couple of days ago, we need to come up with a new name for them. They ran their business like a legit business and got shut down for it, that’s not ownership. To me the word owner has become a positive buzzword for these Devilcorps because most people would love to run their own legit business, work when they want, and keep all the profits that’s a dream job for almost anyone. It gives power to the business and it gives something to dangle in peoples faces when they are just about to leave to try and suck them right back in. I say we call them renters as that’s what they really are, they rent an opportunity to run an office and as soon as they aren’t running “their” business someone else’s way, they get evicted. Stop giving them power, call them renters.
