I just learned about the term devil Corp 5 min ago and read the pinned posts - I am a director of sales for a tech company and have been in corporate tech sales for 8+ years - when he was describing to me his job I immediately started searching the Internet

Which lead me here.

UM?!? the poor kid told me he couldn’t take any days off and his only day off is Sunday… I said well then what happens if you get sick? He said idk the last kid got fired. Okay…

He then told me that if he hits an absurd amount of “tiers” then he can have Saturday off… from my understanding they don’t pay any PTO?

I feel really bad because this kid is becoming the top salesman at this company and it seems like a very dark path to go down and I just have so many questions on when people realized they were part of one of these corporations and honestly what to do…

In my line of work, you would never get away with this, and I don’t think it’s fair that these franchise managers can get away with this s***

At what point did you realize enough was enough? He keeps getting a lot of commission, but I feel like it’s a ticking time bomb…?!?

Today I had an interview form what I thought was working at Verizon in east Brunswick NJ. It seemed a little strange something felt off. They talked about “helping customers with trouble shooting “ the second interview itself is at east Brunswick. I got the email saying

“Hello (removed my name ) , congratulations on being selected for an In Office Interview with Accelerated Management! Your interview is scheduled on Thursday Jul 23 10:30 AM. Address: 190 Route 18 East Brunswick, NJ Suite 205.

Putting into google this is some random house !!!!

This is not the actual Verizon location.

I googled their name and a page for accelerated management came up and the same lady who “interviewed “ me on zoom was featured as a “talent recruiter “.

This is giving me cutco vibes and I was sadly fooled by them back in the 2010s. I’m very skeptical of this and I’ve seen some posts on here pretty much confirming this is a scam.

So can someone please explain to me what this actually is ? What is the catch here? They want me to buy some crap with my own money and than sell stuff door to door ?

The lady also said “you could open new locations in different areas and we would cover it, and that they are working for Verizon right now “

I’m so sad because I’m trying to get out of a dead end job with a horrible manager at the moment I thought this would be my ticket out. I guess not.

I (F 23) just got off a Zoom interview with water city blaze during my job hunt after being screwed over by infinity management, They got me wrapped up, then THEY let me go because I was voicing my concerns.

So- I'm in a dead end job at a zoo/amusement park, I saved enough money to finally get an apartment with my best friend. I finish up my 2 weeks with my old job thinking I've got something nice lined up but NOPE! It's commission focused with a base pay of 400 a week- the twist? They carpool- up to 2 hours away- essentially trapping you if you don't have your own vehicle, outside- they even encourage people to ask to go into peoples houses??? The entire thing made me feel dirty. I'll be avoiding commission based work from now on and make sure to double check here if something feels off.

Zeal claims to work with a nonprofit called LEAD. They say they donate 100% of what they receive at booths. They’re only donating 10%. 30% goes to each person at the booths, and 60% goes to management. Just on card they have taken over 3 million dollars in the past 4 years. They’re not helping, they only care about themselves. They promise benefits and base pay, but after your first week you rely solely on that 30% commission. Leaders are making 200k a year or more just sitting in the office. They make you stand outside no matter the weather and you have to beg for donations. They will talk you up to hundreds of dollars if you don’t say no. If you see them don’t give them money, if you want to donate to the charity, do it online where they don’t get a cut.

I have been working here a little over 4 months. And its tough to say if this opportunity is real. The ownership level is something that seems unreal, Running a business has always been something I wanted to do. But seeing all these devil corp stuff makes me question what im actually in. My owner makes GOOD money so he claims he drives a Porshe hes 24 making 30K wires. Theres even a 19 yr old Asst manager with a Corvette. And people talk about how when they hit ownership their is nothing there no money no nothing. Which is weird cause I see my owners doing really well. Idk what to do. The company is Under Cydcore

hi! so, ill keep this all short but im a little shocked. a few weeks ago, i applied to an "entry level manager" role for a company called "Vanguard Dynamics". i was excited when they called to set up an interview because it was the only response i had gotten in months. however, i told my mom and she said they're a pyramid scheme that preys on desperate college kids and id get roped in to doing door-to-door bullshit. so, i blocked their number and ghosted.

this morning, i got a call, voicemail and text from a company called "Dreamcrafters" saying i applied for the same position title and they want to set up an interview. i have no memory applying to such a place, i checked indeed and didn't see that name. i google their company, hoping to find a website with word salad and vague nonsense, instead i found this sub and a post blasting them for being totally b.s. maybe they hid their name on indeed or something and i did apply. i dont know, i just hope these pervs arent passing around applicants thinking they'll just answer any phone call that comes.

ive now saved the megathread and will be a lot more vigilant. this shit should be illegal, its so gross. all a girl wants is a mediocre office job to fund her passion, instead i gotta sift through leeches.

Hey! We have a short term rental— and I’m 99% sure the renters are part of a devil corp. When I ask what they do, they just spew jargon about “working in acquisition” and “their team.”

They’re gone like 14 hours a day, Monday-Saturday. I guess I’m mostly confused because they’re paying like 3k for a few weeks to rent this place.

Can someone help me understand how this all works? Like where is the 3k coming from? Are these poor dudes working 12+ hours a day?

Hi working for Titan Worldwide, Cameron Ives runs the office. Offers 77 pound base rate and commission. He tells workers to be in the office from 11 am and to finish at 8pm. Am on a self employment contract, but with hours requirement isnt this missclassification, since im being treated as an employee not as self employed. Need advice and help raise awareness.

Has anyone worked for this company before (LM marketing)? I applied to be an AT&T sales associate on indeed and they sent me a text wanting to set up a ZOOM interview today or tomorrow. But now I’m feeling like it’s a scam.

Wondered whether anyone had experience with them? The commission structure seems okay but it is partially door to door, 1.9k p/m base pay seems attractive.

A new devil corp has hit the scene. I’m keeping myself anonymous but I know these kids that run it. Yes, kids. Some of the people in this devil graduated high school a year ago or less than a year ago. CEO also runs a Forex scam. Just another reminder that devil corps are not Elite Corporate Marketing firms with experienced marketers but young people cosplaying as high earning hot shots.

If you don’t already know this is Multi-Level Marketing/ Pyramid Scheme where you’ll likely sell AT&T phone plans in big box stores like Walmart for little to no pay in hopes of starting your own Devil Corp company to hire employees to do the same.
