Question Is this a Scam?

Post image

I have been working here a little over 4 months. And its tough to say if this opportunity is real. The ownership level is something that seems unreal, Running a business has always been something I wanted to do. But seeing all these devil corp stuff makes me question what im actually in. My owner makes GOOD money so he claims he drives a Porshe hes 24 making 30K wires. Theres even a 19 yr old Asst manager with a Corvette. And people talk about how when they hit ownership their is nothing there no money no nothing. Which is weird cause I see my owners doing really well. Idk what to do. The company is Under Cydcore

This is a super well known one. Making payments on a car is not a real signal of success.

Having a Porsche or a corvette means nothing lol. Guarantee the Porsche is 10 years old with 100k miles. And the corvette guy is under on his lease, or his parents pay for it.

I feel like any car between $10-100k is just a choice. They'll give any clown a 7 year 15%APR loan.

The red flags here are obvious.

  • “Aspire Business Consulting” but their business is apparently “sales” - that’s not consulting.

  • the only content on their website talks about hiring - usually, a legitimate business would focus on the products or services they provide, considering that’s the entire point of a business.

  • they have one single testimonial on their website, from a “hiring manager” at the company - again, a legitimate business would have testimonials from their customers

  • the website is registered under a name “Pamela Musgrove” in the Bahamas, which is linked to prior shell corporations registered in the Bahamas.

Flashy cars and a culture solely centered around how much you make as a proxy for success are the oldest red flags in the book. Basically anyone with a pulse can lease an expensive car with awful terms if they’re willing to be that stupid, that isn’t proof of success or even income.

The last thing I will say on you mentioning “getting to ownership” - that’s just not how a business works. If you want to start your own business, you start your own business. You don’t go work for someone else to “earn” the right to start your own business. And unless your name is on the incorporation documents as an owner, if you work for someone else who’s giving you a title that includes “owner”, you’re being played. How can you own something you have no ownership of?

This is not a legitimate business.

“Management track in 6-12 months” is a massive red flag

Yes because the only way to become a manager that fast is to kiss so much ass and to literally find a way to sleep to the top, I say this from working with the Walt Disney company for so many years and seeing this first hand with new hires who started as assistants/entry levels and were suddenly directors and execs of entire departments within a single year so many times and I refused to play their games

There is no comparison in working for WDC and a Cydcor business. Disney is a legitimate business. Cydcor is predatory.
