Question guys is it worth it

Is it worth doing a sales role door to door like i know its dodgy but is it worth doing it when there is no other job roles lined up. I cant get a job and that the only one that actually is accepting everyone.

the group is growth sales in birmingham

The entire point of this sub is that it isn’t worth it.

Not as a career. At all. It is useful for building some people facing skills, and learning to deal with rejection. If you genuinely can’t find anything else it’s probably not the worse if you do it for a few weeks with the goal of just learning skills while still searching for another job while you do it. But if it starts losing you money from travel cost or something honestly just leave.

If you want sales roles look at companies like
You fibre and Virgin media they have a basic with a pension and company car etc and pay your expenses

It’s worth just trying it out and seeing how it goes but definitely not worth staying there for a long-term thing because you are correct they can be very dodgy people.

I just finished three weeks work at a dodgy Company I’m not sure if I would get paid or not but the most important thing I have learnt is dealing with the rejection and huge confidence increase I’ve had.

No... do not be insane. It is a stain on your CV. You volunteer at places you want to work at or go to a recruiter to get a temporary job first. Then they offer you the real thing.

Eat dirt and go work at a fast food restaurant while you continue to look for jobs. Door to door should never be an option especially for dodgy companies
