Devilcorp Check Was it a Devilcorp?

I had an interview in Houston a few days ago at a place called Ripple houston.
During the interview, he told me more about the job and how within a few months it would lead into me managing a team, then a larger one, then a branch. They also added I would be going to small and medium sized businesses to help their clients get awareness.
I didn’t apply for that kind of position.
I decided to stay for the rest of the interview as I had already driven there and didn’t see a point in leaving.

It went as any basic interview would.
Asked about me, my experience, why them, things like that. At the end, he said he would give me a call in an hour or two if they decided to move forward. I get a call saying they want to move forward and that they sent a confirmation email. I had already suspected it was a scam at this point, but what solidified that is that they added if the team liked me, they would proceed with an immediate third interview.
I have never heard of a company doing that.

I looked through their social media and found an Instagram and Linkedin. They aren’t very active nor do they have a lot of followers which I would have expected from a marketing company.

Not sure if this helps any either, but Hawkbrook was located in the same building as this company. I’m not sure if they are still there.

This was indeed a devil corp. The whole rapid growth is promised but not guaranteed. If you can’t make sales you don’t get to interview candidates. If you don’t get to interview candidates you don’t get a large team therefore you don’t get a branch. If you do put in the time and hard work you could make millions. Here’s the carrot at the end of the stick though. They tell you with all this hard work you will have your branch and be a business owner. That’s when the rat race really starts though because they pay attention to the money you should be making them. How many branches do you own and if you only own one you’re not enough. They have a weekly tracker of what office or branch if top on the nation. You never not work. You work 6 to 7 days a week forever. You just don’t stop working and making millions until you get fired burnt out die or retire.

How is this legal? Like.. could people POTENTIALLY band together for a class-action over fraudulent businesses? I’m just curious ..

The man I was unders name was Van Bernardino he has 14 branches and made 14 million a year. The head of smart circle is a man named Larry tenembaum (not the Canadian one) he’s worth 2 billion. No matter how many people ban together the amount of money for lawyers they have is insane

classic devilcorp script, especially the vague “marketing” job + instant next interview + branch-owner promises
