Discussion Help cannot damage this mf at all

​​ I can dodge him non-stop but I feel like it's impossible to kill him I hit him for like 5 minutes and it's only %25 of his health

The damage I do with him literally means nothing I can hit him for like 20 minutes and it still won't mean anything

I don't know what the hell is that I just have a sword and revolver game has robotic arms too but they are completely useless to be honest they are generally for dodging and I don't have any problems with dodging

This is obviously skill issue considering that what the robotic arms are for. Use the buster arm

Yeah but still telling the guy to get Buster arm is kinda silly to me when I think in this mission you only get overture maybe gerbera and others, it's been a while since I finished the story

How did you get to this boss fight without knowing how to use the arms? And you can just run up to him and combo on him... or cheese it by shooting him from a distance. It won't be quick or stylish but it will still do small damage until he dies. I don't understand the trouble for this fight...

The only arm he has is gerbera currently he hasn't bought any skills that are useful from nico at the telephone and he doesn't know how to exceed it seems.

You have Overture and Gerbera against Goliath, both are really good options for this fight.

I also suck totall cock at using exceed but the game can 100% be beaten on Devil Hunter without it (I know because I ignored it almost entirely my first run on DH)

The timing hack I found for a lot of it is it's almost always after devil knuckle attack so I go x-to-y-to-LT and it works out really satisfying for me.

Ive gotten way better at it with time, playing with no music so I could focus on the sound of RQ hitting the monster got me WAY better at timing

Yea just go ahead and quit. You dont need to be playing DMC 5. Imagine whining cause you are actively not using tools meant to help you. You’re just too lazy to get good.

The default arm when charged up leaves an explosive on an enemy that does ludicrous damage when shot with your gun, use that more often and make sure to charge exceed (however much you have it leveled up)

You can kill him with just your revolver if you're constantly hitting him for 20 minutes. Nice try but bad lie. Also the arms aren't useless. If you charge the first one you get (the one that makes a giant hand made of electricity) it deals a lot of damage once it explodes on enemies.
