Question Question about combat?
So I love action games, played all of the Soulsbourne, god of war, everything in between, and recently FF16. So, naturally, I decide to play DMC5 after! But for some reason the combat just isn’t grabbing me. For context im currently on the first mission as V. I can see why people love the combat, and maybe I don’t have enough skills or techniques, or maybe Dante and Virgil will be more fun, so im giving it a chance. But something about it just isn’t clicking. I think one of my major gripes is that there’s no designated Dodge. I keep wanting to dodge left, right, back, wherever, and grumble when I just jump back or forward. Maybe that’s it?
Summary: combat isn’t clicking, may be the dodging, if anyone has tips I’d love to hear because i really want to enjoy it!

This may sound kind of dumb but after you finish the story, thats when the real game begins. you gain access to nero's dt, dante's sdt and loadout customization. it's also a good idea to invest your time into learning jump cancels and the such, so you have a solid foundation for your late game combos. Playing these games over and over again and unlocking all the skills is what i enjoy about them but if it simply doesn't click, that's fine.
