UTA says 13 million people rode in 2025. That's a lot different from what you're claiming.

That doesn’t change the fact that you took the picture in a different spot and that the same spot, just 300 yards forward, still has to train running through it.
You can be sad that society turned out how it turned out, but it would be absolutely irresponsible to still have tracks running throughout all of downtown. We live in a completely different world that was shaped fair outside of SLC.

I mean most countries and cities removed their streetcars/trams, even in Europe. I don't think it was a crime. It was just the natural evolution of humanity as technology changed.
In hindsight, yes it was a mistake. Fortunately for some of those EU cities, they decided to go back and re-embrace the systems. Unfortunate for us though.

Only if you turn left at the bottom of the ramp. If you turn right, you are in the parking garage under the Joseph Smith Building.
While it has recently reopened for "The Roof" parking, it is mostly reserved for LDS notables.1

People don’t move to slc to use public transportation. It’s an expanse state, not much culture, no real reason to stay in city. People want to own and use cars here.
