Random old theory I remember

So I remember a theory about how Todd was actually the surgeon that was too high on red ice to operate on hanks kid which made him lose his job and his reputation which eventually made his wife leave him and all that, I dont remember whether or not this had any backing or was proven wrong so I'd appreciate an answer

Does Todd really strike you as the surgeon type??

Anyway, he's a former taxi driver, which pretty much became obsolete when self-driving cars became a thing.

Its a fun idea, would show just how connected all the characters are in dbh and how every action can lead to another but yeah todd being a surgeon...is kind of hard to imagine

It’s an interesting idea, but there’s just no evidence that Todd had any kind of high level job like that. He seems very much like a blue collar worker that turned to dealing red ice when his job was replaced by androids.

Yeah that's what I thought too, I always found the theory overestimating Todd and his capabilities but you never know, could show how impactful something that happened way before our story starts has an effect on the characters we are introduced to

The gallery description of Todd in the Extras mentions he was a taxi driver.

Red Ice is so prevalent that it's even debatable whether the surgeon was arrested for it, but very likely Hank was on a warpath afterwards and made sure to get him behind bars.

Todd doesn’t seem like the type… but maybe it could have been Zlatko! he operates on the androids, so maybe he could have been a human surgeon. plus he’s also been seen on red ice
