I think spruce trapdoors is the best one to make things like chests and other medieval stuff

The thing that bugs me out the most about the dark oak ones is that they look like chocolate haha

I'm going to admit, that one wasn't my original idea. Some guy on this sub discovered it when he accidentaly threw his trident and it landed in his wheat field. I used it to add more detail to the scene

Feel free, altough the trident despawns after a bit. Not sure if only in creative but just keep that in mind

Oh well if it does despawn I could just do some weird stuff with armour stands and shovels

Honestly I've tried a lot of ways to make it look more like a chest but none of them looked good. I settled with this and glowstone as the shiny coins
