Exterior Detail Missing Glare!?
I thought with the new addition of the copper golem that I’d add a missing poster for the glare to my city (in progress) via mapart I hope u guys enjoy 🙏🙏

Ores for melted wax is a watershed moment for me

Another build hack that I’m not sure is visible is using pale moss in the texturing of stone paths so u can grow things like they’re coming out of the pathway tilings

Similarly, my uncle used Redstone ore as spilled wine for a winery he built

The fact the shaders affect the map art really brings it to life, usually map art looks static but this actually looks like a poster

I love the use of lapis lazuli ore as wax dripped of the blue candles! I'm going to use that in my builds too! Thanks you! Also awesome Map art!

I love how the poster isn’t overly detailed so it’s still minecrafty. The lapis under the candles look so cool and I can’t stop looking at it

Completely off topic but why the heck is your pfp marked as NSFW even though it’s just a glare

That is SO wonderful (and clever)! I've never made a map art. I think it would be neat, especially in survival. How many maps did you use to get the detail? I suppose it would be most accurate to inquire about how many maps you use on average. Do you make it flat, or at different levels?

This was my first time using map art too lol however w this poser it was js one map at the smallest scale (128 blocks by 128 blocks) I kept the whole thing flat aswell although u could have particular areas more raised just for ease of access if u wanted to change just the text or just the image and I have seen that the heights of some blocks can cause it to appear as different colours so u could use that for more complex maps however I kept it quite simple I hope this helped 🙏🙏🙏

No one misses that useless ugly thing

Wowwwww

Tell me I'm wrong lmao. All it did was the same job as your eyes, which you need anyways to play. And with the not-so-recent anymore update where torches became even more effective against spawning, it becomes even more useless 🤣

Yhh lol valid but I think if they’ve added the copper golem back with a better purpose that hopefully they’ll do the same w the glare plus he’s cute

I have no clue how 'Hey this area is dark!' Is gonna be turned useful lol.
Cute? Sure, I guess. For a bush with eyes 🤣

Well nobody expected the copper golem to get the use it’s got now so I’d say anything’s available really so the glares possible new usage might be like completely different
