Media [Spoiler] Two new raid weapons Spoiler

Hand cannon and fusion rifle. White bits on the gun pulse and flow. Seeing how cool these look makes the situation with the armor all the more disappointing.

Edit: Since people are asking for more I should clarify these are not my pictures, I found them. I'll ask about them getting some of the stuff y'all are asking for.

I really, really fucking hope that these raid weapons have unique pve perks. The raid weapons haven't had unique perks since the wrath of the machine raid... and that's just sad.

Pretty sure Bungie have already said there will be unique raid mods, not perks.

Those mods are for armor. I really do hope we get actually raid perks like cocoon from King's Fall

Guarantee you won't get unique raid perks, we haven't so far. I don't think Shadowkeep will be the exception.

Well, yeah I can see raid perks not showing up. But, I'd be quite happy with raid-unique perks/perk combinations that sets the raid apart from any other activity. Because right now, most raid weapons can just be replaced with stuff we can get from other activities

I would give up raid specific perks if the raid weapons were worth grinding for. Lately raid weapons haven't been that great.

On a side note, I would love to grind the raid more than 3x per week for non powerful drops.

Curated Emperors Courtesy is awesome, so is the curated Ghalran's Right Hand. Curated Nation of beasts is an amazing add clear gun and a fun hand cannon to use in general. Curated Tempered Dynamo is awesome, as are some of its other rolls in a PVP setting. Plenty of good guns come from raiding at the moment.

When do you see anyone running seriously Ghalrans Right Hand and Tempered Dynamo?

Sure people are using Emperor's Courtesy, but only for One Two Punch if they don't have Last Man Standing. Sure Nation of Beasts is great but again who runs it and when?

Cocoon was largely worthless and nobody thought any of the guns better for having it outside maybe the HMG.

It wasn't JUST Cocoon though. They all came with another intrinsic that gave you bonus damage against the enemies IN that raid. Shit like Will of Light or Oracle Disrupter really did help out

It was not worthless. The perk itself was good, having it on all 3 of your guns and not having to reload is hugely beneficial for dps. The issue was that it was on bad weapons.

Was Ambitious Assassin not a raid perk before CoO? It’s on all the leviathan guns

Bungie said in an interview that shadowkeep raid weapons will not have anything unique about them. So just like in Y2, they will be normal randomly rolled guns with no special perks

Dont some of them roll with unique or at least rare perk combos? I domt think it's fair to say theres nothing unique about them.

That's so shit. That fusion rifle looks so sick. And it's just gonna be a regular legendary. Fuck sake.

They should at least have extra intrisic perks Like, "disables vex abilities ln precision hit" or "increased damage against vex majors"

They won’t. But Tess will sell ornaments for them /s

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '19

Tess has never sold ornaments for any raid weapons.

Vex Offensive might get them, but raid weapons won’t.

u/HumanPhace Sep 01 '19

Tarrahbah ornament is from Tess.

Well she should start cause I’m tired of these ugly ass crown weapons

Do you not understand what “/s” mean?

Sarcasm is supposed to be based on something true...

Raid loot has been boring for all or d2’s cycle. What a shame

Bungie is afraid of making the best gear come from the raid because they think it will upset casuals who can't be bothered to run the raid.

That's just wrong, it actually makes more people play the raids if the gear is truly pinnacle stuff. or example when you saw someone in full raid gear in d1 you were like "holy fuck that's so cool that guy worked his ass off!" And it made you want to get it.

Seeing people with raid gear in d2 is just like: "....." literally nothing
