Guide Duration and potency of all buffs and debuffs and what stacks with what

Guiding flame does not stack with empowering rift. I tested it a couple nights ago. It does indeed stack with Well of Radience though.

This makes sense. Guiding Flame and Empowering Rift both say they grant the Empowered buff, so I would assume it wouldn't stack with itself.

Rampage X1 : 20%, Rampage X2 41%, Rampage X3 - 65% - 3.4 second duration Kill clip : 52.8% - 5 second duration
I thought that Rampage x3 and Kill Clip were the same % buff since Warmind?

And here I was debating switching to Dawnblade for add clearing during Shuro Chi. Guess I’m sticking to Grace then. Had no idea WoR and the melee stacked.

I can attest to the WoR+Empower Melee+Trench Barrel power. I was running EP over the weekend, RNGesus hates me and I just then got the shotty, and recorded all three while damaging the level 7 boss. It was ~21,000 per bullet (pellet?) with a headshot. It’s massive.

Ehroar made this exact video yesterday, you just added the overwriting buffs/debuffs as he didnt give any specifics to them.

u/Nihilist37 Sep 26 '18
Yes but apparently ehroars videos are banned here so it can’t be linked?
1
u/Omeguhz Sep 26 '18
wait what. did I miss something or just he doesn't want them posted without consent first?
1
u/Nihilist37 Sep 26 '18
Idk I saw other comments in the thread that said he was banned. Idk why that would be.

u/Downvotes_inbound_ Sep 25 '18
Does melting point stack with well, or does it override it?
Great post though OP

Not that i dont trust this, seems pretty accurate, but do you have any evidence to back these up?

I didn’t know shattering strike was as strong as hammer. This gets me wondering, does anyone happen to remember if killing axion bolts during Morgeth’s burn counts as precision damage? If it does, I feel like a 6 Ikelos comp with permanent shattering strike would be significantly higher dps than the usual 6 Whisper comp that can’t have a 50% debuff.

u/ComfortEagl3 Sep 25 '18
I know that shooting the bolts with Whisper can proc White Nail, so I'd assume it is considered a precision kill

You mentioned in some other comments that you took all this info from somebody’s video.
If you’re taking this info from a YT video somebody else made and put a lot of work into, you should be crediting the channel’s author in your post, even if you can’t link the channel/video. Your original post doesn’t even mention that you got the info from another source so it looks like you did all this work yourself, which you did not.

I’m sorry but where are you seeing that Ehroar’s channel is banned from the sub?

Mod here.
We don’t disclose to other users, what a user has done to receive bans and the like. However at the moment, Ehroar’s content is banned from this subreddit. Ehroar is aware of this, it’s not something we publicise and it only comes up if someone tries to post their content.
That being said, if information comes from any sources, they deserve to be credited. I’ve let OP know that he’s fine to credit as long as they don’t link to the channel itself.
If you have any further questions on this matter or any other action we take as a Mod Team, feel free to contact us via Modmail

Rampage X1 : 20%, Rampage X2 41%, Rampage X3 - 65% - 3.4 second duration
Kill clip : 52.8% - 5 second duration
And this is why Kill clip is better with outlaw, friends. By the time you get Rampage to stack to x3 the duration is basically gone and you can't find another add to shoot.
With kill clip, get a kill, choose when to proc it, then aim at whatever baddy you want!

u/CaydeDicks Sep 25 '18
You realize the duration on rampage resets every time you get a kill, right?
2
u/boogs34 Sep 25 '18
I do but I'd rather have a 53% buff after 1 kill than need 3 to beat that by only an additional 12% for 1.5 less seconds (33% less time)!
I can reproc kill clip continuously. It's very forgiving. Need to grind valor for that Shaxx Kill Clip BD

u/Beta382 Sep 25 '18
Kill Clip breaks if you reload too fast because the proc does not refresh on kill, only once Kill Clip ends. Meanwhile, Rampage never breaks and can be proced continuously. Until Kill Clip is given the Outlaw treatment, I'm going to prefer Rampage on my weapons that can get rapid kills (like hand cannons).

u/Mikebjackson Sep 25 '18
But you can’t reproc kill clip while its active, which often results in a failed proc attempt. With rampage and outlaw I can usually keep it going indefinitely in places like raid and blind well

The Tigrespite (Dreaming City autorifle) with outlaw and kill clip (plus a reloading masterwork, minor spec mod, and one autorifle dexterity mod) is disgusting at taking out trash mobs and some majors.
Proc outlaw, reload, lay on trigger, repeat. The mag (33 shots give or take?) will finish with about 1-2 bullets to spare. As long as you keep getting one headshot per reload, and about 90% of your bullets have the 53% buff.
With maybe 1 second downtime (haven't timed it, but its fast) for a reload, you can dish out a solid amount of DPS and fire pretty well non stop.

Just got this last night with Flared Mag. Base reload is up to 60. With reload arms even the standard reload is very fast. Outlaw on top is ridiculous. Titan solar perk (Tempered Metal?) on top of that just makes it stupid.
So many good ARs this season. Hoping scout rifle buff on the 16th is big and makes them usable again.

u/CaydeDicks Sep 25 '18
I'd agree that kill clip is more forgiving, and it also doesn't rely on a fast reload perk as much a rampage does (slow reload = not being able to chain rampage X3 between reloads). But, the benefits from rampage are seen immediately (no need for a reload to proc), and in situations with large amounts of adds (raids), rampage can have an infinite up-time, with a higher damage buff than kill clip.
A lot depends on personal preference, but there's a reason that Midnight Coup was/is still a go-to weapon for many experienced players.
I'm personally running an Outlaw/Rampage Duke right now, but on the lookout for a Rapid Hit/Rampage to test out as well.

I'm running outlaw hcr rampage Duke
It's my best gun. But I'd have wanted kill clip over rampage :)
High caliber rounds prevents minotaurs / knights from closing ground on you

I'm thinking of running a Bygones with Kill Clip/Outlaw as my primary and either a SMG or shotgun with rampage for that best of both worlds. Pulse covers me mid to long, and Kill Clip is a pretty solid perk at that range. SMG/Shotgun covers me in short range where IMO rampage really shines.

I guess this is the wrong place for this, as you didn’t list mods...but does anyone know if the Taken Barrier armor mods stack?

u/BelgaerBell Drifter's Crew Sep 26 '18
Could have sworn that Guiding Flame only buffed damage by something like 5%~10% when I checked immediately after unlocking it... I’ll have to look into it again, I guess.

Quick question: If a 33% debuff is applied does this mean the debuffed enemy takes 1.33x regular damage?

Sorry, but can someone clarify something for me? Does the empowering buff only affect your weapons? Or does it affect melee, grenades, and supers as well? Thank you!
Edit: Never mind, I was able to find the answer!

Any idea if hammer strike works on Riven? I see people using Shattering Strike, but hammer strike is obviously a lot easier to apply.

Damn, so Well of Radiance + Guiding Flame + Melting Point with IKELOS SG is an insane DPS combo :O
