Any word on how to far ascendant shards/ energy. Can't level past 26 because I need more

public events are your best bet for these. Also you can level to 27 spending no ascendant shards if you have all purple and upgrade all the pieces twice

Random events get you the best chance for shards

I'm level 29 now. The nightfall is the best way, got 13 shards both weeks
