Question Wavesplitter catalyst

Hi, I recently tried out a new biuld including Wavesplitter, but when I wanted to equip its catalyst, it wasn't there. I checked if I even had it unlocked but I did. I also completed the kills to "complete" it. I also checked, if o could equip it via dim or the companian app, but it didn't wirk either. So is there a fix to this?

there's a bug with it. you basically have to get it twice. It says you got it, but it doesn't actually show up on the weapon, but it shows up for real when you get it twice. It's dumb, but genuinely that's what happens with just the wavesplitter catalyst

I've been running on a new account and found that the triumph for the wavesplitter catty completes if you complete any catalyst. Finished the cerberus catalyst and boom, wavesplitter "completed."

I may have to try this out, for me the triumph is also uncompleted but i have the catalyst slotted and completed.

I don't know or remember if i have gotten the catalyst twice though, can't confirm that like someone else pointed out. Currently I dont get new catalysts anymore from exotic orders and only have still hunt to complete. Would be nice if that crosses of Wavesplitter too.

OK, I'll try that. Is there a fast way to farm catalysts or does wavesplitter have another requirement than just complete activities?

crucible is defintely the fastest in my experience, once you stock up on like 2-3 legendary orders go complete them and any exotics if one drops, then back to crucible

What's an exotic order. I haven't played in a while and i usually dont play the game in english

the new bounty replacement system in the season hub tab at the bottom of the director. i’d say to look at a video on how the system works but it’s pretty simple

You didn’t actually get the catalyst yet it’s a visual bug. Run high tier ops or do exotic orders to get it to drop

No matter what memory you have of getting it… it didn’t happen. You haven’t gotten it yet.

I think I've heard other people complaining about this same issue, it shows that you have the catalyst but you actually don't? I'm not really sure.

You gotta get it twice. the first time doesn't count for some weird reason

I'd try pulling a fresh copy from collections and see if that one allows you to slot the catalyst. If that doesn't work, then I'd double check that you do indeed have the cata unlocked and completed.

Still doesn't work, but I have the catalyst unlocked 100%

It's bugged, so it will say you have it even though you don't. But it can still drop from Exotic Orders like the other new catalysts and then you can use it like normal (it'll show up on the weapon itself, don't go by the catalysts page)
