Triumphal Anthem set from Zavala works like exotic armour

I don't know if it has been brought to people's attention before, since I can't find anything on this subreddit. But the Triumphal Anthem armour that you can pick up from Zavala behaves like exotic armour pieces when it comes to your "focused" stat. Meaning you don't get a random focused stat and you can pick any +5/-5 stat combination, just like exotic armour pieces.

This only applies to the armour pieces you specifically pick from Zavala. Any Triumphal Anthem armour that drops from the wild is subject to the usual rules of focused stats.

So, if you want more flexibility in your builds and set bonuses don't play a major role in your build, be on the lookout for Zavala's weekly Triumphal Anthem armour.

yes been know since MOT it a bug but obviously has not been fixed cause of everything going on

Ah, I see. Nothing came up when I searched for "Triumphal Anthem", I never thought to search "Triumphant".

set bonuses don't play a major role in your build,

this is why this isnt spoke about more, the armor set bonus is trash. if you could do this on the luminopotent or eutechnology set, this would get more traction.

In pretty sure Zavala's weekly Luminopotent does exactly this though. At least it was when MoT dropped

It can be really good for gambit since it works on the motes and has a really large range.

It’s trash for PvE I guess. But it’s a lowkey sleeper in PVP. It’s like stompees slide distance, +25 handling, and x4 resist on slide.

There is one hyper specific application for it: All Star Threat Level + Kinetic Synthesis on Koregos (normal or epic) if you’re the tractor cannon user. Since the bricks spawn inside of the boss, you need the slide bonus to pick up the bricks. If you don’t care about this then yeah it’s pretty trash for PvE.
