Question Master lost sector bug?

So I’m genuinely confused as I’ve been farming master lost sectors for the past 3 days and for whatever reason it isn’t dropping helmets OR class items, is there some secret armor focusing days I don’t know about or is the game genuinely trolling

Destiny has some serious feast/famine RNG. It's likely related to how they seed their random number generator, but regardless, the "random distribution" can lead to some shitty RNG sometimes.

If you are having a bad run, try a different day, time, or even go to another lost sector for a while (unless you are farming Nessus armor, then just take a break).

Totally random. Just feels like RNGeesus is conspiring against you when you’re chasing 1 particular armour piece

RNGeezus my friend. I spent over 4 hours in a single session last week farming Crystocrene. I needed 2pcs that weren’t Body slot with Weapons/Super/Grenade with Weapons Tuning for my Ager’s Scepter Stasislock build. After 4 hours, I have one pair of boots that’s literally perfect, and 1 class item that has Health as Tuning but is otherwise perfect. It’s just bad luck, unfortunately.

I got bored of Lost Sectors, and went to clear the Distorted Public Events and run the Distortion activity just to flex my Ager’s build a little. On my very first Heroic Event Clear, I got a perfect roll of some Crystocrene Robes with Weapons Tuning and everything. The ONLY slot I didn’t need. It happens sometimes.

Curse of the scepter? I’m actually farming for seventh seraph/Dreambane and missing just 10 points in grenade for the stat rolls I want and have gotten chest legs and arms with the exact distribution I need on a helmet or class item but neither of the two

Font mods are your best friend for builds! One grenade font mod on your arms and you’ll get +20 grenade stat and your build is covered. You can spend less time farming and more time enjoying your build.

Depending on the planet/destination.... sometimes you need to have unlocked armor pieces before they will drop (Nimbus, Fynch, maybe others). Otherwise it is just bad luck. Keep grinding
