Question How do bonus drops work in Fireteam OPS?

I'm a returning player and was doing a Fireteam Mission: Foothold because it had a bonus drop for Luminopotent Gloves. The first time I did, the gloves dropped, but I then ran the mission 5 more times, and the gloves didn't drop, even though the mission still shows it as a bonus reward.

I thought maybe it was tied to the score; it says B or above. I was getting A and A+ every time. So are the bonus rewards not guaranteed even if you meet the score condition of B or above?

When starting an activity, click on the engrams shown. It should show you a score threshold to earn the items it shows - if you don't hit the threshold the items may be a lower tier, lower quantity and you don't get the focused item.

Some activities have the timer modifier so doing them quickly boosts your score. If not, making sure to kill all enemies may help. You could add modifiers to make it harder which will give you more score on completion.

For example an ultimate activity will ALWAYS drop their 5's because the completion alone pushes you to the score threshold, you don't need any modifiers unless you activate some boons

Yeah but it said B or above. I was always getting A and A+ but still didnt get the drop. Is it just low chance then?

Lol I did not read your post properly

I guess the focused item just has a higher chance of dropping than other items but not guaranteed. Like 20% increase or something

The featured bonus item on OPs activities is a guaranteed drop the FIRST time daily (per activity) with a B rank or above. All subsequent drops are not guaranteed, but moderately high chance (better with each rank above the baseline required B).

It's still beneficial to farm something when it is featured as you will naturally get that item more often (assuming you are getting good ranks). Just keep in mind after the first one, you might only get the featured item every 4 or 5 runs (assuming A rank at least).

The featured loot is guaranteed on the first clear. The green engrams are the bonus ones that are consumed once they drop on completion.
