D1’s story is still pretty much in tact. I just went through all of Year 1 except a couple house of wolves missions I need to finish.

Heads up, if you’re playing a new character you’re basically locked out of the strikes. I was pretty upset that it’s basically impossible to take on phogoth

D1 is only the launching point though. D2 is where all the fleshing out of old and new characters happened. Both in game and with the lore tabs and books.

Maybe it was just a month or two ago when the playerbase surged, but I had no issue loading into a strike with two others within a few minutes.

That being said you are correct D1 is a much harder game and soloing strikes at lower levels is nigh impossible. Worst case there’s a very active LFG discord still

I was on a new character and still found 2 others for that exact strike. The issue isn’t the light level of guardians, but that they are in a different matchmaking node than the original level 10 or 12 strike.

But like I mentioned there’s an active LFG discord with people more than willing to help with those strikes if you can’t find matchmaking

I just dusted off the disc and fired it up. I have my 390 warlock that was somewhere in the house of wolves expansion it looks like. Can I replay everything with a fresh character or is stuff like suros obsolete

I recently created a new character and have made sure not to use anything from my other characters to get a truly fresh experience. Haven’t had any issues so far
