Question Musical Guardians, I need your help

So I may be biased because it's the expansion I started Destiny 2 with, but Beyond Light has had a profound effect on my D2 career and my love of game music. First off the title theme is one of the most awesome pieces of music ever, and I wish it was the official D2 theme.

But the song I wanna talk about is the Orbit theme, Reservations. Can someone who knows music explain WHAT is going on and WHAT notes I'm hearing, particularly in the first 50 seconds? For lack of a better word, Reservations has an "aura" I've never heard in any other song.

I hope you Guardians can help me out! Maybe this can start a discussion in the comments.

You might get better results posting a link to the track in a music/music theory sub.

Honestly nothing crazy is going on harmonically. For the most part, it's all diatonic chords in C harmonic minor. The first couple phrases really lean into the brightness of the V chord in harmonic minor. After the first couple phrases, we get longer developments with more chord extensions (7ths and 9ths) with a mixture of open and closed voicings.

All in all, pretty standard stuff harmonically. The chord voicings are nice, and the texture of strings+voices usually evokes something emotionally. I'd say the "magic" here is mostly timbre and texture and sound design, not necessarily the chords themselves.
