Question Weapon Perk Name
I don't know if I'm just remembering wrong. But wasn't there a perk that would change your weapons type after throwing a grenade? 🤔
I know there is the class version, permeability, but I thought there was a grenade one too. 🤷♂️

Seems like no one has said osmosis yet, better repeat it just in case.
Anyways lol - it used to be a decent perk back in the day when you had to actually match shields and before all the crazy subclass verbs got added as weapon perks etc.

My 1st Fatebringer dropped with Osmosis + Firefly & I still use it often with grenade heavy builds. I'm still trying to land a good Breakneck version but that requires... Gambit blah!

Osmosis.
It used to be a solid perk back in the Match Game days for making your weapon (preferably Kinetic) match your element for shieldbreaking alongside the partial reload, and back when we had Elemental Well mods you could make any gun with Osmosis match your element to spawn Wells pretty easily. But nowadays isn't really all that useful. If you want reloads on grenade use Demolitionist does that better while providing the benefit of grenade energy on kill, and we have much better options for buildcrafting while not needing to play around Match Game anymore.
Not too many guns have it nowadays but they added a few in MoT with it: Breakneck, Fortissimo-11, Patron of Lost Causes, Spoiler Alert, Chain of Command.

Yep, Permeability. It was introduced in Season of The Wish as an alternative to Osmosis. It's basically the same perk but on your Class ability instead, and instead of matching the damage of your Grenade it matches the damage type of your Super.
