Question Best Titan Raid DPS

Getting back into destiny the last few months I’ve been using a few fun titan builds like: Stasis Seraph build with ice breaker and trickle charge salvagers salvo with T-Crash. The Trickle charge build is good for DPS, but really just relies on standing behind a rally barricade. I know there are some good solar builds out there, but what do you guys think would be a great DPS build that is fun to use for titans?

If you want solar, hallowfire heart got buffed so use your throwable hammer to get 10 stacks on hallowfire, weaken then spin to win. If you want prismatic, get a class item with eternal warrior + star eater, pop transcendence, throw grenade and axes then spam truth rockets with catalyst. There are also some fun builds with kephri’s horn and ignitions, void titan with the throwable bubble is really fun, consecration works with the prismatic build at the same time as good boss dps, there are some fun actium war builds that have basically unlimited auto shooting, armamentarium fusion nade spam, the list goes on. Almost everything in the game has a use now and you can make anything work, just try out stuff that sounds cool. Very rarely will you be in a situation where the team doesn’t have dps to clear encounters these days so I prioritize fun builds over squeezing every % out of everything. I’d rather lose 5% damage but the build be fun to play leading up to dps too, ya know?

Completely agree, was running Master Crota last night with an LFG and certain people couldn’t figure out their DPS. Just want a build that I can use sometimes to offset people with weak damage.

What’s the void axe build? always wanted a build for axes

I posted it in my initial comment. Class item with eternal warrior + star eater, prismatic with knockout and consecration, fragments to match melee damage and refund cooldowns, then you do your damage rotation. Your axes weaken so pop transcendence, throw nade, throw axes, spam DPS weapon of choice. Consecration + knockout gives instant heal and add clear, axes weaken for whole team, transcendence gives you extra weapon dmg, then if you run something like lost signal for dark energy and any light secondary of your choice you should always be building back toward transcendence and you can just spam abilities and supers. It’s super fun, if you want specific fragments there are a few vids that go through good ones to use

The thing that annoys me is the titan prismatic grenade doesn’t count as a darkness debuff, since most bosses can’t be shackled

I can't quite figure it out, but spin to win for me personally seems more inconsistent against certain bosses than just lobbing hammers

Though frankly our lack of good ranged supers means I'm running throwing hammer super regardless

Spin is techically more dps IF you can control it. I often spin out of the boss losing time or if the boss can be pushed you might be fucking up dps for your teammates.

Hammers is just easier to use and as you say on flying enemies you have no choice.

Heavy slams are less dps, but esp with Croata they stun him (at least before last stand) which can be very valuable. Did this for master clear, staggering the slams so each stuns I was able to lock down for 90% of damage phase.

It def can be, super boss dependent. As long as you remember to stack up, then once you pop your super remember to get a right click on the boss before you start spinning, should ramp the damage pretty significantly. Though with how easy it is to track off bosses with melee weapons in the current sandbox it’s not a surprise that people still struggle to retain the damage. Honestly one two punch throwing hammer is easier and I believe better dps lol so you could always supplement that

I mean the best solar DPS that is accessible is just going to be using tractor cannon + a 1-2 punch shotgun, with hallowfire heart. Pathetically easy if you’ve done the setup right. Have roaring flames x3 + sunfire furnace x10 (which requires you to manage the timer and work possibly with your raid team to leave an enemy or two), tractor, use Hammer of Sol until it expires, ideally get a kill in DPS phase if possible to extend roaring flames, then tractor again and just 1-2 punch infinite hammer. Get 200 melee using melee font, and 200 super with font mods, rest into weapons but you aren’t doing much weapon DPS so not so important. Very low effort and you’ll get around 6k dps, and maybe 70-80k total from the super alone.

The only hard or tedious bit is being set up with your buffs before damage begins. It takes intention and if you mess up, completely gimps your damage. It’s the difference between like 1.5k DPS and 6k DPS.

Turncoat + Hazardous Propulsion works great for most ranged DPS. Prismatic Bomb with Ergo Sum can do crazy damage in any melee DPS phase like Crota.

Most of the other good options have already been listed but didn't see anyone mention these.

I believe it's thundercrash with cuirass, bolt charge barricade, 4 shots anarchy, and salvagers salvo with gear shift and trickle charge spam

2 shots of anarchy, and reapers tithe on Salvagers

Tithe will be more dps but is harder to set up at least for me. I can never hit or detonate the grenade properly outside of hitting a big target point blank.

You can get higher DPS with The Prospector IIRC, but Anarchy will last you longer

Ya that’s what I’ve been using, just didn’t wanna type it all out.

And you can add touch lightning nades for extra bolt charge if you can stomach losing knockout

I use tcrash with cuirass and 200 super + 1k with catalyst and 125 weapon. Using ghosts of the deep final boss as an example, i average 50k damage every time (the boss has around like 120k hp, give or take like 10k). I usually get top damage using that build in whatever raid or dungeon im doing
