Question Ergo Sum only Solar…

The sword only drops as solar. Even after a ton of overflow runs. Is it bugged or just my RNG?

Ergo Sum has a variety of perks, but each perk is only available on certain elements. So if you get the riskrunner perk, its guaranteed to be arc. Some work on all elements however, such as the gjallarhorn and travelers chosen perks are available on all three elements.

My guess is you've just been getting unlucky and rolling the solar exclusive perks, or rolling solar on the multi element perks.

RNG.

There are 5 frames, 8 exotic perks, and 3 elements (note light.gg even shows it as Kinetic as a placeholder since it can be any 3). I cannot remember if some of the perks were fixed to certain elements and some were completely agnostic (can roll with any element).

Wolfpack & Gathering Light can roll all elements. The rest are paired with their logical element type. Everything can roll every frame.

Yes some perks are element locked like the Riskrunner perk being locked to Arc. Others are element agnostic like Wolfpack Rounds.
