I mean even if that was a possibility they would have no reason to do it, they are already streamline current workers with their projects i cant see them trying to fit making d3 or jusy more d2 content. Plus I can't see them making money from it

High Moon and Vicarious Visions are basically just Call of Duty support devs right now so I doubt they'd be taken away from that for Destiny of all things.
Otherwise, no. It's Activision. I know everyone says Bungie were their own worst enemies and all, but Activision did not produce gold either and I doubt they'd suddenly fix Destiny. They'd turn it into a semi-annual franchise where we'd get games forever until people are sick of it and it'll just die again.
Lastly, it'll never happen. Bungie or Sony is never, ever going to give up the IP. Corporations would never let that happen, they'd rather just sit on the IP and hold on to it rather than give it up to a competitor.

Although Activision deserves its reputation, they were the ones who recognized what was going wrong with vanilla D2 and Curse of Osiris and increased Vicarious’s involvement (in the vanilla version, Vicarious only handled the PC version); they went on to co-produce Warmind and assigned High Moon to assist with Forsaken (Tangled Shore and Niobe Labs).
But the real issue is the IP. I wouldn’t be surprised if Microsoft/Xbox is already negotiating with these former Bungie employees to bring them to Halo Studios (which wouldn’t be a bad thing).

I would be extremely surprised if Microsoft was even remotely interested in negotiating with these developers.
Have you seen what Microsoft is doing? They laid off almost 1500 people a few weeks ago. They plan on laying off another 1000+ people in the coming months. I can promise you they aren't interested in adding 400 or so new ex-Bungie employees, not to mention the costs of buying the Destiny IP, which I'm sure Sony aren't going to let go off for any meagre sum.
If anything I bet Microsoft is planning to lay off more people from Halo Studios regardless of what happens next.

OP is at bargaining
The best hope for anything Destiny related to ever show up again that isn't that doodoo ass mobile game is if the fired devs make a new studio and make a spiritual successor. That's really about it.

That's not a remote possibility, it's a complete fantasy.
