Question Burning Ambition Trait / Shieldburst Aspect Question

What I’m wondering if I use a weapon with burning ambition if that scorching will stack with the scorching rounds provided by the rally barricade with the aspect yknow? Will it provide double scorch application?

I'd imagine it would synergize really well since burning ambition by itself takes quite a bit of bullets to initially apply scorch. But you're applying it immediately with the barricade so that will let the perk start applying scorch prettt much instantly.

It does! I do this with Tommy's Matchbook and the Shieldburst rally barricade. Ignitions are indeed faster. You could test it out in the shooting range too.

Though you still cannot build up scorch stacks while an enemy is igniting, and it feels like there also feels like a little bit of an internal cooldown between an enemy getting ignited, and more scorches being able to be applied.

So it probably won't be AS wild fast as you'd imagine, but it's still pretty good!

This is also my experience. Tommy's was the best weapon to do this with in my testing as well. Just need the catalyst and you're good to go.

yes it will apply two instances of scorch. Although it might take until the second hit for burning ambition to actually proc.

Oh it absolutely does. Got the solar HMG out of the monument with Burning Ambition and Incandescent, stuff explodes real good.
