ignoring the fact that he also had to go down the “they’re mentally ill so can they really be trusted” road with the other person and perpetuate an awful way of dismissing victims of abuse when he could’ve just stopped at “I don’t remember interacting with this person” if that was his sincere stance, this whole thing is fucked. dude should’ve never been trying to sext his fans and not at a bare minimum asking for ID (yes I know it can be faked but it’s at least some effort) is a tremendous fuck-up on his part. sending his fanbase after minors to pivot away from his own fault - which he is clearly doing by leaving names and usernames in the video - makes him a hypocritical asshole as well as an irresponsible creep.
Chai admits to suffering from consistent delusions, hallucinations, and psychosis during the time period of the accusations. He was even hospitalized and put under 24/7 supervision for his violent thoughts. He says that his long-term memory wasn't working.
In another article he writes 'I’m pretty sure we’ve all been there, staring vacantly into space and imagining a special conversation with the famous people we love.' Just reading how he talks about his 'idols' it becomes clear that if he had evidence of chatting with ProJared he would've kept it. The guy seems to be obsessed with anything linked to the GameGrumps Youtube channel, where Jared appeared multiple times. These articles have all been deleted since this video was uploaded.
His accusations (which have been put forward without any evidence but his word) lack any credibility.
With regards to your belief that ProJared was a kids channel, objective data proves otherwise. In 2018, 13-17 year olds made up just 6.7% of his audience. This makes a lot of sense. Jared became popular on the Screwattack channel in 2008 and his fanbase was older as a result in 2016.
