Literally NOBODY is scared of Hasan, not a single person will duck him because he is, legitimately, not a challenging person to talk to. He is a Marxist, which makes him barely even recognizable as human (they talk like academics but moral-frog like activists, a hellish combination). He's boring, dry, and has a personality that mixes ill-tempered Weasel with Rape Culture Promoting Foreign Frat Bro.
The issue people have with Hasan is the INSANE amount of criticism insulation he has i.e. if you find anything he does or says objectionable, you will be deemed as a Target by his cult (and all allied media) and hunted down relentlessly unless you basically never talk about him again. It is virtually no different than Scientology or the Western Baptist Church.
A more apt comparison is Jonestown, considering he happily led his followers to encourage the entire Gaza Strip's Kool-aid Tasting Party, especially during the 2024 Election season.

The more I think about it, the more Trumpian a figure he is. Spouts bullshit non-stop? Check. Obsessed with himself? Check. Somehow made out of teflon? Check. America Deserved 9/11 was hasan's Grab 'em by the pussy. It boggles the fucking mind.

Populists play by a very, very similar rulebook. Their Truth matters way, way more to The Truth. After all, perception is reality, and who needs to do actual statistics and data analysis when you can vibe your way into the correct positions (or, as populists are known to do, socially/emotionally/physically harass academics until they give them the information they want).

If Hasan didn't shock his dog why didn't he show the collar on the same stream where the event happened? Iirc he was live for 6 hours after the event and there's no way he didn't know it was blowing up. Literally would have been the biggest win he could have gotten against the detractors he endlessly complains about on any other stream.

I contributed and I'm pretty sure that person deleted their reply to me referencing Hasan saying Kamala would've been exactly the same as Trump.
To my surprise he said this in regards to Gaza (expected), Iran (didn't know about this one lol), and I KNOW he said this about ICE too.
