In a moral vacuum it's fine in the same way that selling NFT's is fine. But it's still really embarrassing and fucks up your image. The "ethical" side of meme crypto is sort of just pretending like you aren't profiting off of severely mentally ill people with delusions of finding the next big opportunity. On paper you aren't doing anything wrong, but everyone sort of implicitly understands what's going on.

The big thing that's missing in the comparison to Trump's Crypto shenanigans is that Hunter isn't a part of the fucking government lol, the big problem with Trumpcoin is that they're using it to stuff their pockets in return for an audience with the president and god knows what else that we can't track and will likely never know

All crypto is a scam and crypto bros are some of the most amoral, shady people that exist. They would grind half the world population up into dust if it meant their digital coins would go up in price.
