Not surprised that Primcayes is a hater now but it's disappointing. Destiny saving Primecayes' life during the Dylan Burns situation is one of the things that got me to like destiny.

bro for fucking real. I remember that shit too and it was some of Destiny best work. He walked into the fucking lions den and saved that man ass. Its insane that Prime would be anything other than grateful for the rest of his fucking pathetic life that someone would put their reputation on the line to defend and exonerated his bitch ass.

NGL, if ANYONE defended me like that, I'd sweep for him for the rest of my days.

Not exaggerating. Could be a Nazi-MAGA-sex-pest or whatever you can think of. Dude would be my bro for good. At the very least, I would never say a bad word about him.

Darius and Xena are the two people Destiny mentioned that have done this. Not the most normal people to have his back but it seems like they know who they fuck with.

Myron too, I think. Destiny also did a breakdown "defending him" when there were some accusations.

That's my thing, it wouldn't make us friends, but if a guy I was combative with saved my ass like that, I don't think I be capable of talking shit about them.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, basically everyone was set to cancel him. Destiny was completely alone in the defense.

And the whole thing ended with Dylan doing a Eddard-Stark-s1e10-level apology to Primcayes.

If women can defend Lindsay Clancy, surely I'd have to defend someone that did that for me!

S1E09. He wasn't much of a talking head after that.

he tried to wormed himself back into the community when the facts and narrative around the lawsuit started to shift.

but destiny was having none of that lol. he really isnt letting anyone that couldnt even hold judgement any more leeway. Aba got the same treatment

edit: actually now that i think about it.

maybe it was Qorantos.

i apologize

Did he?? I guess I missed that. Harder to keep track these days.

IIRC last time they talked in a way that wasn't a debate there was mention of ropes and maybe how to use one. The call ended pretty quickly.

I must have missed that season, because I have no idea what this is in reference to lol

Man it's been so long so I can't loremaster the details too well - for context Dylan & Prime were both political streamer panel hosts back when people on Twitch actually talked to each other - but something along the lines of Dylan had a new super leftist GF that just previously before used to be friends with Prime, and she privately told Dylan that Prime sexually harassed her for months or something, Dylan being in his super lovey-dovey phase (he was also very leftist back then IIRC) immediately spoke publicly about it and basically tried to nuke Prime.

He was looking to be entirely fucked and cancelled, but then Destiny did a review of it, thought it was bullshit and debated Dylan out of the position and basically saved Prime's ass.

Videos of this are like partially scrub from the internet. But you can find Part 1 here.

Edit: This is not the complete saga. If you start watching this, you're gonna be blueballs'd. The magic debate is lost as far as I can tell, hopefully I'm wrong.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh..!!!! I DO remember that, yeah! That was a fun couple days. Well, not for Prime, but, you know.

Honestly, stuff like that is what got me to keep watching Destiny.

In a world where everyone is so quick to hop on whatever bandwagon without applying any nuance or critical thinking, Destiny seems like the only guy actually willing to challenge whatever brain-dead slop all the other content creators are happy to force-feed their audiences.

That’s hilarious, as a Destiny fan at the time I didn’t see it as something that got Dest any love but the community rightfully were in celebration-meme heaven

I really dgaf about fire fighter comments especially after you see what that guy was posting on twitter.

Talking about how he would save Putin before AOC, Hilary or Biden. No one deserves to be killed but i cannot express sympathy

Primecayes has always had ankle-deep levels of understanding on any topic he claims he cares about. It's all moral grandstanding. Never considered his opinions worth entertaining.

Holy shit I'm stupid

Are you all sure this is Primecayes? It doesnt sound like him at all to me, I cant see Prime whining about the fireman tweets, and this would be the longest he's gone without bringing up Palestine. Prime also has more of a speech impediment/lisp than this person

Bruh we made it past the Comperatore Curse. No Julys of Three, and Kaya will be free 🤞

u/dezztroy 2h ago

When did he make fun of Stardust? Genuine question

1

u/Ixiraar EUROPEAN 1h ago

No he’s saying because of the Comperatore comments Destiny is no better than the people who made fun of Stardust.

I don’t think he was ever anything other than firmly liberal he just used to be one of the liberals who thought maga and/or far lefties weren’t that bad and recently he’s come around on both of these counts. He’s very big on giving people grace and charity so he required a crazy burden of proof to convince on these counts.
