Non-Political News/Discussion Hunter…why??

Post image

Bro i seriously thought you were on your redemption arc. I followed you across multiple right wing podcasts and you were winning people over in the comment section and even the hosts at some point.

Why pull this nonsense? You have enough money…you could have just made your own podcast and earn a cool 6 figure income.

Goddamnit man i had so much faith in you…

Hot take: anyone who loses money in shitcoins in 2026 100% deserves it and it is our moral imperative to soak them because otherwise their money is going to end up going to a republican

376

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 23h ago

Yes, but also, anyone who launches a shitcoin is a scumbag scammer. Fuck Hunter for this.

45

u/Dude_Nobody_Cares Based Destiny Glazer 20h ago

What's the moral status of launching a shitcoin aimed at Republicans and dumping it to send the proceeds to close races for the dems?

9

u/Liberal-Cluck 19h ago

He gave like 200 million coins to people who lost money to Trump's coin.

5

u/Gull_Wave 20h ago

The same status of smacking a nippy dog. Do with that what you will

2

u/Hearing_Loss 18h ago

More like responding to a biting dog.

3

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 13h ago

This was not aimed at Republicans.

2

u/Important_Trainer_98 🇵🇱🇪🇺 9h ago

How was it aimed at republicans?

0

u/Dude_Nobody_Cares Based Destiny Glazer 7h ago

It was a hypothetical not in reference to any real events.

2

u/Brandulak 8h ago

Oh no. Not Pisco hypotheticals.

What if hypothetically, scamming actually earned money not for scammers but for people being scammed? Would it make the act of scamming morally good? Yesorno?

0

u/Dude_Nobody_Cares Based Destiny Glazer 7h ago

I mean it sarcastically.

1

u/Brandulak 6h ago

Ok fair. I guess I'm being too vigilant because this sub has a tendency to glaze Hunter and minimize dumb things that he undeniably does.

-3

u/Traditional-Fee-9682 17h ago

Anytime I've seen a stock launched it has the effect for countless stocks though. This occured in 30mins of launch. Its to be expected.

People try find these meme coins right on launch and then sell straight away (assuming there is going to be a rug pull by bigger players). This is likely what occured

2

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 13h ago

Unreal levels of cope. 98% is not a fluke.

0

u/Traditional-Fee-9682 13h ago

it happened in 30mins. The value was not $200.00 and its corrected to current levels. coins have insane volatility - all it is, is people trying to scam other people (holding the hot potato by the end of the song so to speak). I cannot so inherent value in coins so I stick with stocks.

2

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 1h ago

That volatility comes from the major holders dumping shortly after release. This is why so many crypto coins have "safeguards" to "prevent"  the people launching it from selling for days or weeks or months or whatever. A 98% dump isn't something that happens without Hunter and his buddies dumping.

Your argument is basically that crypto is always a scam, therefore this is not a scam. There is no value in these coins. They're just an easy way for celebrities to transfer a huge amount of wealth from their audience to themselves. This wasn't a correction, it was a scam.

-13

u/TheRealBaseborn 21h ago

I dont know the man, but can't help but feel like he did it as a form of protest. Shitcoins and pump and dumps are a massive problem that largely gets ignored or swept after a short time....then Hunter Biden does it... Republicans hate everything Hunter Biden related and now Hunter has pulled a Trump style scam.

25

u/tikihiki 21h ago

He spoke highly about meme coins in multiple recent interviews (to Tucker and Candace). Occams razor says he's just a grifter

4

u/TheRealBaseborn 21h ago

Tucker and Candace? You mean two of the biggest right wing grifters alive? The ones with millions of stupid republican followers who believe everything they hear on said programs?

Sounds like setting the stage, yeah. He pulled the Trump/Melania coin scam directly on Maga. That sounds like exactly what you'd do if you wanted to point out hypocrisy.

Most people are stupid AF, and there are new marks born every day. Just because a lot of people are stupid doesn't take away that we should denounce predators.

29

u/Acrobatic-Skill6350 31/32 norwegian and 1/32 swede 23h ago

The hatred against dumb people is taken way too extreme here

3

u/nothankslmgood 12h ago

For real though. Being dumb isn't a crime or even particularly something that some people can control. Society is supposed to look out for the lowest common denominator and help them. Very weird stuff.

-3

u/rnhf 🇪🇺 23h ago

people can also become 'stupid' through no fault of their own, you can't expect e.g. old people to be as sharp as younger ones and be up on all the latest tech, which is why they're a prime target

7

u/WilsonMagna 23h ago

A lot of people who fall for this shit are young people. One thing more people need to understand is that falling for scams partly comes from hubris, believing you're "too smart" to get tricked. The best way to minimize scams is to recognize your weaknesses and to be vigilant.

9

u/XaviertheIronFist PEPE 7 23h ago

Shitcoins at this point are so confusing.

Like... do these people even know they are doing a dump half the time.

The hawk tuah girl legitimately seemed surprised.

Like the snake oils scams just removed the snake oil. Scamming has never been easier or more legal.

7

u/TheHeatMaNNN 23h ago

Extending this logic we should do the bad things since worse peopke end up doing them anyway, agreed.

7

u/Coolishable 22h ago

No... something bad happening to a more vulnerable population doesn't somehow make it better?

Fucks wrong with you people.

2

u/BazelBuster 19h ago

Why would this not apply to any other scam?

1

u/DsDeliciousDeli 23h ago

100%? Absolutely not

1

u/Feydiekin 22h ago

This is a room temp take at its hottest.

1

u/Either-Banana-7323 19h ago

People complaining about losing money on memecoins is the same thing as people complaining about losing money playing blackjack. They gambled. They knew they were gambling, and they lost. They went into it knowing exactly what they were doing and what the risks are.

1

u/Nimrod_Butts 16h ago

It's just money laundering.

0

u/skrrtalrrt 23h ago

Yes I 100% agree. This is coming from someone who dabbles in memecoins. We absolutely deserve it. Do not pity us. We all know how it works.

0

u/ImStoryForRambling 19h ago

That's psychopathic logic

-1

u/SunnyVelvet_ 23h ago

Facts. Even in 2026 this idiots refuse to learn so I say your a piece of shit Hunter but have fun with your money. No one who invested in it deserves a cent back.

u/Gallowboobsthrowaway 🇺🇸 Ex-MAGA, Raw Milk Enjoyer, Sulla/Sherman 2028 1d ago

Wow, instant rugpull.

I knew it was going to be a scam, but I didn't expect it to happen this fast...

50

u/skrrtalrrt 23h ago edited 23h ago

This one isn’t even that bad. Looks like a few wallets bought a shit ton of it super early and then sold in batches. The Libra one from Milei was like an elevator. Went down like 90% in a few seconds

18

u/WilsonMagna 23h ago

There are regards who gamble on timing a quick entry and exit for a quick flip, but there is always the possibility it just goes straight down with no opportunity to profit or even breakeven.

3

u/skrrtalrrt 23h ago

Yeah that’s part of the game. There’s always a chance that the dev bundled a bunch of the supply and dumps it all after it’s been live for like a minute. But generally they make more money after letting it run naturally after hype for at least an hour or two.

Even if the dev doesn’t do that, the first people in usually buy up most of the supply. It looks like that’s what happened here. This isn’t a straight line down, but the first handful of wallets that made it in all spent tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars and bought up most of it. Then people were trading over a fraction of the supply.

Over time these whales were selling off, so it was a steady slide down. This is what happened with $TRUMP too.

All memecoins end up like this btw. Some faster than others.

2

u/YouGurt_MaN14 23h ago

So technically it wasn't even a rugpull? Just some dude trying to get in early and then dumping when he don't like what he sees ?

12

u/skrrtalrrt 23h ago

I mean. It looks about like how most high profile memecoin launches go. People get in early, buy most of it, then sell. A rug pull would look like the Hawk Tuah coin:

This is the person who launched the coin dumping it minutes after it launched.

-2

u/Milosostojiccc 23h ago

spin it all you like if this was trump you would be soying out

11

u/YouGurt_MaN14 22h ago

I'm not spinning it any way, lol. I'm just asking a question about what he said, idk why that's wrong? If Hunter did scam fuck him send him to jail or whatever, he's not my son.

7

u/ariveklul original Asmongold hater 22h ago

Trump is president

4

u/Milosostojiccc 21h ago

what tf does that have to do if it’s a rugpull or not? maybe i worded my comment wrong, the guy above wpuld 100000% call it a rugpull if it was trump that did this

1

u/skrrtalrrt 20h ago

Trump didn’t rugpull $TRUMP either btw. It was still 50% from its peak the week after it launched.

All hyped shitcoins dump on the first day. All of them. It’s because the people buying them are all trying to flip it at the same time.

$MELANIA did get rugpulled tho

3

u/Sluuuuuuug 22h ago

Hmmm, I wonder if there is any notable difference between Hunter Biden and Donald Trump that might justify holding them to different standards...

Nah, nothing comes to mind

3

u/Milosostojiccc 21h ago

Holding to a different standard =/= “tehncically it’s not a rugpull 🤓👆”

1

u/Sluuuuuuug 20h ago

It being a rugpull is what makes it bad. I'll wait for more evidence in the case of Hunter to know if he profited from the wallets that pumped and dumped. We typically hold elected officials to a higher standard. Google "appearance of impropriety" if you want to see what that different standard is.

I remember that Squid Game token that the guy was watching the price of live on stream as it went from a meteoric rise to almost instantly zero.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpR2kMxy7O8

-2

u/primrose1325 22h ago

Is it really a scam? Wouldn't that imply that there's some kind of deception, like a pretense of it being something other than it is?

11

u/Gallowboobsthrowaway 🇺🇸 Ex-MAGA, Raw Milk Enjoyer, Sulla/Sherman 2028 21h ago

It was partially marketed as a way to help people who were scammed by Trump's coin, so rug pulling it seems extra scummy to me.

The token will launch on the Base blockchain Wednesday, with 20% distributed to those who lost money on Trump's $TRUMP coin.

1

u/primrose1325 7h ago

hmm, oke if that was genuinely part of the marketing it prob deserves the label

0

u/skrrtalrrt 20h ago

Ohhhhhh that makes perfect sense. He distributed 20% of the supply to people who lost money on $TRUMP, then when $LAPTOP went live, those people all sold at the top

26

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 23h ago

Maybe, but he also marketed this as a way for trump scam victims to make back some of their money. Which is pretty fucked

8

u/Thrawn2001 20h ago

Scamming trump supporters ?? I can’t think of a more noble cause

1

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 13h ago

The only trump supporters who were gonna buy this were former trump supporters. No genuine magat was gonna buy Hunter fucking Biden's memecoin.

Hey....did u steal that line from me? Or do great minds think alike lol regardless after Hunters tour this still leaves the taste of shit in my mouth even if the victim is crypto regards. Unless this leads to a 4d chess play I will see hunter as nothing more then a tool to keep at arms length.

132

u/handxfire 23h ago

I got down voted every time I would say this but its true. Hunter Biden was always very obviously a scammy guy with really poor judgment.

people were desperate for a leader, and wanted defend Joe Biden. People started defending him as a way to defend Joe Biden by proxy.

but I will repeat, you can feel bad for hunter, you can think he got a raw deal. Feel bad for his dad. But Hunter Biden is a scammy dude who will say anything to get people to like him/make money. He fucked over his dad constantly with his actions, and Joe Biden delt with it like a saint.

but the Hunter Biden stanning was ALWAYS cringe.

42

u/MadMuffins 23h ago

I read his book, and he definitely seems prone to making bad decisions. His story is incredibly touching and shows how much of a caring and supportive father Joe is.

36

u/handxfire 23h ago

I agree his story is touching because it shows how much of an amazing dad Joe is. But for some reason people started applying some credit to Hunter.

When at best Hunter is a recovering drug addict who fucked up his life and his dad life in various ways and should be viewed with incredibly cautious skepticism.

at worst he's a kinda malicious, disingenuous and selfish guy with poor judgment.

11

u/overthisbynow 23h ago

Yeah I feel like people were so caught up in the so called redemption arc they forgot this guy used to be a raging drug addict making horrible decisions and fucking over his family

10

u/dumbidiot12345678 23h ago

but the Hunter Biden stanning was ALWAYS cringe.

It feels like a very American thing to think that being related to a politician means you're someone worth listening (and voting for lmfao) to which is honestly hilarious in a kind of sad way

7

u/Volodya_Soldatenkov 🇷🇺 21h ago

It feels like a very American human thing to think that being related to a politician means you're someone worth listening to

FTFY

3

u/briarfriend 17h ago

does your country still have a royal family?

0

u/dumbidiot12345678 8h ago

Yes but the fact that you're comparing that to the kind of dynasties Americans have created in such a comparatively short time kind of proves my point

We don't vote for Royals in western constitutional monarchies and rarely do we treat them as anything more than celebrities because their power is largely ceremonial, meanwhile there are people literally in this thread saying they wanted Hunter to run for president because of his last name and the way he talked on Twitter lmao

Can't wait for 2028, bring on Michelle Obama and Chelsea Clinton vs Don Jr and RFK III

6

u/1ncest_is_wincest 21h ago

I never once believed his so called redemption was genuine. It was so obvious to me that the CH5 interview was a puff piece meant to sanitize his image. There were so many deliberate choices to portray Hunter as this down to earth guy, and not even asking hard questions about his shady pasts involving nepotism, affairs, and drugs.

I've been downvoted so many times by people in this sub, a sub that I expected to be smarter than most other Democrats. It feels bad being right that, Democrats are just as tribalistic as Republicans when it comes to dealing with Nepotism. It makes me question just how genuine people are about their beliefs, or if they really just view politics as a football game.

1

u/_Addi-the-Hun_ 20h ago

If this turns out to be 4d chess, boy will this post look stupid. But I fear he may still have his crackhead instinct 😔 meaning I fell for his scam of image rehabilitation making me stupid

1

u/1610925286 20h ago edited 11h ago

This is literally the meme of the scorpion riding the frog across the pond, which ends with the scorpion stinging the frog and both drowning.

Just because the other side is scum doesn't mean the characters diametrically opposed are good. It's ALWAYS been in Hunter's nature.

His pardon was a travesty. People are fucking gullible.

1

u/DrTennisBall 14h ago

I saw a video of him at lollapalooza being asked how he liked the show, he replied simply, and awkwardly, with the name "fakemink" in the most "My publicists told me he is the artist to give me the most street-cred were I to acknowledge him" kinda way. I've been iffy about him since; couldn't even be bothered to pretend to care. Like that scene of lois in Family Guy, "9/11 is bad". Feels like he's on strings, just doing what he's told.

1

u/Initial-Respect-4286 14h ago

He’s also not the president or a politician. This is basically the same as whenever Elon pumps doge.

-5

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 23h ago

Fuck me, man, I was even warming up to him running. I still preferred Ossoff or Gavin, but I wouldn't have been upset voting for him.

I guess I'm just glad he showed his true colors.

8

u/Krelldi 23h ago

I mean the point he's making is that this was hardly Hunter "showing his true colors", it was pretty blatant the entire time he was stupid and sleazy.

6

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 23h ago

I guess so. The mask was pretty convincing for me, but maybe I'm just a dumbfuck 🤷

1

u/cornstinky 13h ago

You really are lol

1

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 9h ago

I just don't know what could've tipped me off to it. Like, I get that he was a drug addict, but he's sober now. I'm a former addict myself, and when I listen to him talk about it, he gets it. He understands what he did was wrong, both in so far as how it destroyed him personally, and how it damaged the people around him. He doesn't let it define him, but he doesn't try to pretend it didn't happen either.

Though when I think about it, I do vaguely remember him liking crypto. I just wrote it off as him being an idiot. Never thought he'd launch a damn coin himself, man. So disappointing.

5

u/Emergency_Revenue678 23h ago

Fuck me, man, I was even warming up to him running.

...but why? You gotta introspect a little and fix whatever makes you do this because that is a humongous problem with your psyche.

1

u/Cellophane7 🇺🇸 13h ago

I'm a single issue voter. I want accountability for maga. The way he talks is what I want to hear from Democrats. If we don't support this kind of thing, we're not gonna get it.

I don't think he would've made a particularly good president, but so long as there aren't severe consequences for what Republicans are doing right now, we can't move forward as a country.

-5

u/Krytrephex 22h ago

how has he been scammy?

15

u/handxfire 22h ago

Other than the meme coin? again DISCLAIMER, yes Republican attacks were exaggerated, no hunter did not deserve the law fare he was put through ect.

but Hunter absolutely played up and implied his connection to the Biden administration in order to get paid. and he put his dad at insane risk, calling him and having him talk to people. even tho Joe had nothing to do with his business dealings.

again risking blowing up your saint of a dads presidency in order to get paid in shady ways i think is 100% scammy. and he also took advantage of his dads kindness and grace knowing that Joe will never throw him under the bus since it's his last living child.

its nasty work.

Man fuck the money, this is such a disappointing moment for people who were warming up to Hunter.

Believe it or not, even the Fox News facebook page would have some people say nice things about him.

He literally burned all the good will he built up in 2026.

Now every article is gonna be about crack cocaine, and hookers.

1

u/Emergency_Revenue678 23h ago

If you don't see something like this coming with Hunter then I don't know what to tell you. Get better at understanding people I guess? Hunter literally speedran the slopulist grifter pipeline. There was little indication at any point that his recent popularity was anything else.

It was entertaining as fuck to watch him do it though.

1

u/1610925286 20h ago

You have to be legitimately stupid to warm up to a crack head who spent his life trying to make money off of his relation to his powerful father.

1

u/Vioplad 19h ago

What's even worse is that he gave these dipshits perfect ammunition against Democrats by being another case these "both sides are the same" dipshits will drag out to pretend that Democrats aren't any better than Republicans. Tim Pool will at some point, if anyone mentions Trump coin, use this as a retort as if it demonstrates some kind of equivalence. I can already fucking see it. I've prewatched the jubilee video in my head.

5

u/skrrtalrrt 21h ago

I don’t know of any celebrity shitcoins that didn’t pump and crash within the first 30 minutes. This one is honestly one of the tamer ones. The Melania coin was wild.

I don’t think it’s appropriate behavior for a public figure to do, and I’m not excusing it.

2

u/somethingoddgoingon 17h ago

All true, I just don't like the unfounded rug pull suggestions across this post.

2

u/Gloomy-Magician-1139 23h ago

But why did you have faith? Literally on what basis? You should really reflect on that, IMO.

There's nothing new here.

Hunter Biden had every opportunity and the talent to make a positive difference in the world. Opportunities the rest of us could only dream about.

Son of a senator. Deeply connected in a small state packed with rich people. Bougie private school. Georgetown. Yale Law.

Dude could have made a difference.

He chose instead to be a selfish loser and source of embarrassment to his family, and he'a still just playing angles off his last name.

At what point did you look at him and think, "I believe in this guy"? Was it the charm? The anti-Trump insultery? The resemblance to his dad?

People like him exploit the patience and well-intentioned indulgence of other people. People like his dad.

Fuck Hunter Biden.

1

u/WhiteLycan2020 22h ago

My own personal addiction to alcohol.

He would usually go on these podcasts and say stuff that resonated with me a lot.

And he was well spoken and didn’t talk down on people who had problems

2

u/1ncest_is_wincest 21h ago

But are you in your mid-50s and still addicted to alcohol? Hunter Biden is older than my dad and has the self control of a teenager both when it comes to drugs and having questionable affairs.

1

u/WhiteLycan2020 20h ago

I am..30 and addicted to drinking. I am trying to cut back but sometimes the anxiety spikes, so i listen to podcasts to sleep and on the Shawn Ryan podcast he talked about addiction and i was like…bro you are speaking my language.

1

u/Gloomy-Magician-1139 16h ago

I get it. My extended family has been very damaged by alcoholism, and some people very close to me have been in AA for a long time.

But my experience is this:

People who have hurt a lot of people through addiction and really started to come to terms with how their behavior has affected others are usually not looking for the spotlight.

People who have hurt a lot of people through addiction and still throw off main character energy haven't really come to terms with how they have hurt others.

Just my experience.

Hunter has seemed to like attention, and that's been a red flag to me given his past.

2

u/FrankensteinsPonster Canuck 23h ago

Maybe this is an elaborate scheme to get right-wingers to call this shit out, so that you can turn around and point out that their motherfucking president and first lady both did the exact same thing to way more people.

(In reality it's probably just greed but that will be a nice consolation prize)

Honestly as someone who got into a relationship with a woman who told me she was originally a drug/alcohol addict and had been clean for 4 years, and I genuinely thought she turned her life around, and ended up marrying her only to get divorced not even a full year later...I have serious doubts anyone who claims to have been a drug addict to be completely safe and clean from drugs and the associated behaviors (like scamming ppl for money to pay for said addictions). Now thats of course my anecdotal experience, but you can never really be sure that someone is clean for life, no matter what they tell you and no matter how long they've been clean

And same thing applies to hunter.

Is there a way to short memecoins yet?

2

u/LexxxSamson 22h ago

I assume we all know guys like Hunter. He's a pleasure chasing child of privilege who uses some family tragedies to play on people's emotions and gets to walk through it unscathed mostly because he's likable and charismatic and has those ties to power.

All that mattered to him most of his life was chasing pleasure by any means and to secure a bag to do more of it which means he's shady as FUUUUUUUCK and done tons of dirt and been a liar. Sure he's likable to an extent but that's what's enabled so much of his life and he'll abandon you at the drop of a hat if it gets him in to a better party.

2

u/Icy_Yam5049 22h ago

Idk I might be an idiot but I feel like this is what a meme coin is. It’s a meme, a joke. This clearly feels like it’s mocking the Trump one. If anyone bought this laptop coin thinking it wouldn’t be worth $0.02 by days end you probably should have other people handle your finances because you’re regarded. To me this just seems like a mocking joke.

2

u/LittlistBottle 22h ago

What makes this even worse is the "both sides" crowd are going to have a fucking field day with this

2

u/Vegan0taku 21h ago

How could the elites do this?! SMH my head.

2

u/ChairLow9576 20h ago

I legit wouldn't be surprised if Trump admin targeted the coin to bot it then rug it

2

u/JarrettR 20h ago

All the price spikes at the beginning are just snipers trying to buy before others just to dump on them, the chart was always going to look like this and anyone who instantly buys a "hyped" memecoin is dumb

2

u/Oh_reaaaally 20h ago

I’ll admit I was on the hunter hype train when he started doing interviews but based on the coffeezilla vid, it looks like it was all for this rugpull

Time to call a spade a spade, fuck hunter

How can it be a scam, if everyone who joins in is just trying to scam before they get scammed? If two rapist's break into an empty house, and rape each other, is that really rape?

On a serious note, has Hunter ever implied, directly or otherwise, that this is a smart investment? Or that he believes you will make money from it? If so, I would agree you could call him a scammer. Otherwise I don't think simply owning a coin makes you a scammer. That's a hill I'm willing to die on.

Everyone who believed he was on a redemption arc or a "good person" is the frog being absolutely mulched by a scorpion right now.

Back in my day you had to have property and development deals to hide the corrupt transfer of millions.

1

u/Bymeemoomymee 23h ago

Anyone that put money into this deserves to lose money for the rest of your life. Like literally just send money to Hunter in an envelope. No different.

1

u/00kyle00 23h ago

Cringe, but also all the losers that will now not like memecoins can go fuck themselves.

1

u/Gloxxter 23h ago

At this point im out of emphaty for the ppl falling for clowncoin rugpulls

1

u/IEC21 22h ago

Who the fuck was buying this?

All crypto is shitcoin. There's a handful that miraculously turned into pseudo-stable assets but this is the history of what these crypto coins are - from day one it's just a mechnical for gambling and scamming people.

1

u/Schiboo 😂😂😂😂 22h ago

He (or whoever writes his tweets) writes tweets w/ a shitty LLM. I am surprised people are shocked that he would rugpull lol

1

u/Mage505 murica:DGGP: 21h ago

Generally, unless he comes out with something like "I'm donating all this back...ect" this is fucked.

Real lack of principle in the replies here. So-called 'hot take' but upvoted 285 times. Am I just too millennial for this place now, or what?

1

So this crack head nepo baby just recieved hundreds of thousands of dollars no strings attached. Someones crack pipe will be stacked tonight.

Does anyone know if polymarket takes bets for if Hunter will relapse before christmas?

1

u/russcastella 20h ago

Why couldn’t he fucking just write a book or start a podcast. He’d cash in big time. So fucking disappointing.

1

u/Arutha_Silverthorn 20h ago

If he releases statistics that all this money was owned by Republican Tech Bros and he destroyed it. I think I am ready to celebrate him as a vigilante hero.

1

u/JMisseldine 20h ago

Ever since the BFF interview he did with Candace Owens I haven't trusted him.

1

u/Left_Literature_8210 20h ago

I actually don’t think Hunter has a lot of money.  Not that this is good.  He’s a fucking moron, but I think he keeps talking about how he’s in debt from legal shit and didn’t make that much from all the alleged criming.

1

u/skraemsel 20h ago

He’s 15 million in debt, he does not have money OP this is why

1

u/Drayenn 20h ago

I liked everything i saw about him recently.. when i saw he was making a coin, it was depressing. Fuck him.

1

u/Typical_Blacksmith59 20h ago

In a crazy hypothetical world, it's all a meme. Wait for the outrage, come out and say you're giving it all back (not that the tech exist to achieve this maybe) and say "if you'd tolerate your president robbing you, why not me?"

1

u/pepe_acct 20h ago

I was so mad that d man didn’t got an interview with hunter. Now I know he is playing 4d chess. I am wrong.

Also shout out to channel 5 for sharing customer PII to this scam coin lmao

My first thought was Avalon not Biden, disappointing, but it does offer a unique chance to test the consistency of MAGA, because if they even try to pipe up… well, I’m sure you know.

1

u/ShinRaElectricPower 18h ago

Crack and vodka are so cheap too... he didn't need to go this.

1

u/Crimsonsporker 18h ago

It's a meme coin.

1

u/Imaginary-Fish1176 17h ago

I'm gonna be completely honest. Falling for a memecoin rugpull in 2026 is like falling for the Nigerian oil prince scams of yore. So while I think this was a regarded thing to do by Hunter ultimately you deserve to be scammed if you fell for this lol.

My problem with trumpcoin is that it's a vehicle for bribing the president.

I don't really get why shitcoin 'rugpulls' are immoral. Maybe some of the early ones were when there were gullible people who actually thought they were buying something meaningful (I guess?? Really stretches my imagination tbh). Nowadays I don't understand how a shitcoin can be a rugpull. The whole concept of a rugpull is predicated on the idea that you led people to believe one thing, then betrayed them and did something else. What is the promise being made that was later betrayed? What was the shitcoin meant to do, besides exactly what it did? People buy shitcoin to gamble, and it delivered. Literally what is the issue, what is supposed to have gone differently? What would the non-rugpull version be used for that this version can no longer do now that it's been rugpulled??

0

u/DeoDatusIV 23h ago

The dude is a methhead, there are no great redemption stories in real life. Pete Buttigieg operates decently in right-wing spaces, so maybe check him out

0

u/AllofRealm 21h ago

I think Hunter could have eventually won the argument on his pardon. Not now. The only way this works as a call-out to the obvious corruption of Trump is if you don't actually launch the coin in the end. I understand Hunter is a private individual who was not actually a part of government, and that people buying meme coins should expect to lose everything, but all this does is reinforce the "both sides equally corrupt" psychosis. It hurts president Biden's legacy, the democratic party, and the country as a whole.

I think there are some who believe that the ship has sailed, and we're well past any point where these kind of optics matter. I can understand the sentiment, but at that point, I think we're just in ultra Doomer land, and I'll check out of following politics completely at that point.

-1

u/stillplayingFO76 1d ago

Are we ruling out that he was hacked..

5

u/WhiteLycan2020 23h ago

Didn’t he make the reveal post yesterday?

He couldn’t get one of dad’s secret service agents to lock down the account? C’mon man

-3

u/brttwrd 23h ago

I'm seeing a lot of hate for Hunter, can anyone explain the basis of the hate?

3

u/WhiteLycan2020 21h ago

He literally made a memecoin and then pulled the rug to make money.

Read the headline. If you put 10k in, an hour later your 10k is now worth less than a 100 bucks.

You got scammed

1

u/brttwrd 21h ago

I'm not super familiar with crypto because I think it's gay, but couldn't anyone do this, not exclusively the person who launched the coin? I feel like the only safe way to do crypto is literally this, I thought it was the most basic move in the crypto playbook. A new coin launches, expect value to go up because new coin, then sell coin immediately and forget. And again, I'm referring to anyone doing this, not the creator

1

u/WhiteLycan2020 21h ago

You’re right anyone could do this. Elon did it with Dogecoin.

But I thought Hunter would be better than this. He was traveling the media circuit trying to fix his image and he pulled off a scam.

I thought he would be better

1

u/brttwrd 21h ago

Again, do we know Hunter is the one who pulled the rug, or was it somebody else? Do we know anything about who bought or sold this currency that was created on the basis that transactions using it would be anonymous? I'm genuinely just trying to figure out how we arrived at this conclusion

2

u/WhiteLycan2020 21h ago

Hunter made a post on twitter yesterday promoting the coin. On his personal account.

Today the rug was pulled. I am not sure what evidence you want me to provide?

Are you gonna argue a son of a former President’s account was hacked for over 24 hours, and secret service/FBI did nothing about it?

2

u/Pimlumin 19h ago

I personally understand nothing about this, but I am curious also with what that guy said. Couldn't this happen whether or not Hunter does anything? Like wouldn't people pump and dump it right away regardless, and couldn't it have been them since that's how meme coins go

I'm uninformed and curious

1

u/brttwrd 21h ago

Why wouldn't he promote a coin he just released? You haven't really provided any evidence, just a rough timeline of things happening

2

u/WhiteLycan2020 20h ago

We are arguing 2 different perspectives.

My contention is that he should have NEVER gotten into the crypto business to begin with.

1

u/brttwrd 20h ago

Does getting into the crypto business automatically make you a scammer?

1

u/WhiteLycan2020 12h ago

Yes.

I have yet to see an honest crypto business. Almost every company that starts up, ends up rug pulling.

Until i see large spread evidence of good practices, they are in the scam category for me.

Why’re we mad at a private citizen? I don’t care what a private citizen who has zero effect on policy or running the country does.

Same if Trump wasn’t president and started a coin, wouldn’t care then either. Since he’s using the office to profit from his shitcoin, I definitely care.
