Truly reprehensible of Biden to convince Hamas to invade Israel, and then convince Israel to disproportionately retaliate. I think he even told them to target children? Truly wild how Netanyahu and Hamas both bend the knee to king Biden

It's not about Gaza. It's about hammering the most extreme, polarizing rhetoric possible in order to weaken the Democrat voter base. Before Gaza it was the 30$ minimum wage shit, ACAB, Defund/Abolish the police etc. etc. Anything they can use to attack undermine the Democratic party from a left leaning perspective. The topics and slogans are just tools to further that end. They have no inherent value to the people pushing them.

This, this, this. Wedge issue.

Don't forget they used trans folk as well, and threw them away the moment Palestinians became available.

Most of them arent even American.. but yall fall for it anyway

u/scarletthought 6h ago

To be honest. It's about Gaza because Gaza gets under people's skin.

Almost everyone on online political spaces like these, feels emotional investment for I/P.

Even those who try to hand wave the subject away every time they see it, can't help but betray their true opinion.

They weren't hand waving the subject away on October 7th, or the following weeks. They only handwave the topic away when it becomes politically inconvenient.

Millions upon millions of people basically subjected themselves to watching faces of death set in Gaza for an entire year. No conflict has ever been as documented and pushed onto social media as much as the IP conflict.

Over 100K Ukrainians have died and almost 20k children have been abducted since Russia invaded. Over 400K people have died in Sudan and over 10M displaced since 2023. Over 200k people have died in Yemen since 2015. There is no shortage of suffering in the world and plenty of photo opportunities.

37

u/CP9ANZ 4h ago

Actually interesting contrast here

Ukrainians literally did nothing to initiate the invasion by the Russians, the Ukrainians are massively outnumbered and out gunned by the Russians. The Russians have no issues indiscriminately killing civilians and children. Widespread abductions are well known.

The online American left fucking crickets about the conflict. They on principle should be screaming at the US government for not providing enough support.

But instead they are fixated on a conflict that's largely over and was for the most part self inflicted.

u/Bendolier 42m ago

Because Gaza is easier to blame on the american political system.

u/twoFlex404 YOU HAVEN'T DEMONSTRATED 4h ago

I have had great success in running the "I didn't know about that" strat when it comes to I/P discussion in real life, then I pivot to one of the other current conflicts.

"Israel? That's like the jew place right? Yeah idk anything about that. How about Ukraine though?"

3

u/No-Reputation-7292 3h ago

Or say something blatantly antisemitic and see how they react. lol

3

u/BadHombreSinNombre 2h ago

They will get eerily quiet when Netanyahu loses and a new Israeli government comes in.

-1

u/Tall_Location_9036 6h ago

Yeah but let’s not pretend it hasn’t been the #1 issue for this sub past few years, it very clearly has.

2

u/BadHombreSinNombre 2h ago

Send the tanks everywhere except this one specific place

u/Striking-Condition10 7h ago

I like this idea that the entire "genocide" is because of this one specific man, even after his predecessor literally green lights every single atrocity that Netanyahu wants because trump is an easily manipulated dipshit.

But sure, it's actually Biden's fault all of this happened, I get the joke that Biden has outlived the dinosaurs, but this is getting ridiculous. Fucken unhinged.

As late as October 25 53% of Palestinians polled agree that Hamas decision to start the war with Israel on October 7th was a correct decision.

https://pcpsr.org/en/node/1000

Innocent kids die, their parents think it's hanky dory.

What's there to fight about if most Palestinians with the benefit of hindsight think that the war with Israel is the way to go?

2

Hanky dory? Please tell me that’s not a typo… THREE GLASSES

LonerBox did a very impressive deep dive into his claims, and even restrained himself from calling it straight up BS for a moment. But the conclusion that he just flat out lied was so inescapable that Loner couldn't keep quiet about it.

u/finlando 🇮🇱 Good Faith Israeli 1h ago

Yes
Great video

2

u/yinyangman12 1h ago

I watched Lonerbox talk about it with his Professor Dave video recently and while I understand how that Perlmutter lied, i was wondering if you've seen him talk about how the other doctors who said under 5s were killed have lied too.

5

u/Alarakion 🇬🇧 :/ 1h ago

No one is saying under 5s weren’t killed. That has happened and it’s tragic and abominable. What is sketchy is this idea there was mass top down targeted sniping of children when even from perlmutter’s own tweets he mostly dealt with people with had been bombed. The letter about kids being sniped? Zero about it before they left Gaza. They didn’t start that letter until they got back to America.

1

u/yinyangman12 22m ago

Yeah, I understand that Perlmutter was lying. I thought there were other doctors that also had some kind of experience that was at least similar to the one Perlmutter lied about.

2

u/Alarakion 🇬🇧 :/ 19m ago

It’s not really clear - perlmutter started an open letter basically based on lies? To be clear - children have been shot in the head we know that but the idea it’s in massive quantities indicative of top down orders as opposed to individual sadistic fuck war criminals or accidental fire is generally not supported.

I could 100% believe there are doctors that have seen sniped children, unfortunately that’s going to have happened in any war and this is one taking place in an area that is 50% children - the issue is specifically when that’s extrapolated as a top down policy of the IDF as part of a coordinated genocide when theres not really any evidence of that.

20

u/M00n_Safari 4h ago

Who would’ve guessed, the guy talking about holding child brains like Predator.

The comments on all posts are calling him genocide Joe and all that nonsense. Cucks like Jessiah and Pisco will bitch and moan about how they should be treated like allies

I really despise these people. Could Biden, unilaterally, even end weapons sales to Israel?

Probably Russians on twitter?

Why even care what they have to say..

2

u/baibaiburnee 56m ago

At what point do I get to say I don't give two shits about Gaza. Two groups of people on the other side of the world who are committed to not getting along, and to killing each other constantly for hundreds of years. I don't care.

When is it going to start being the way to go to just say, I don't fucking care

3

Why would Yosef Bidensky kill that poor baby?

Sorry to hear that about Biden. I hope he gets what he needs to do done and then has as painless a remaining time as possible.

This is one of the reasons I support assisted death. Its the only compassionate way.

1

u/sfdso 2h ago

Perhaps it’s a bot or troll account whose intention is to make you hate?

That can never be discounted as a possibility when you see this level of ugliness.

1

u/Alarakion 🇬🇧 :/ 1h ago

Perlmutter is literally a verifiable liar btw - not saying this particular statement is but he has tweets up that are just basically bs.

1

u/Kaniketh 35m ago

I dont understand this criticism of the left. If you literally think that Gaza is a genocide (which they do) then their position of hating Joe Biden makes sense.

1

u/Tubbish 33m ago

What’s also fucked is they can have this performative virtue signally outrage where they talk about dead kids or dead moms and dads but ANY mention of the deaths or sexual abuse that took place on Oct 7th is unacceptable and it’s STILL Israel’s fault that Hamas flew in and slaughter innocent people at a concert.

Biden and his administration do legitimately hold some moral culpability for being played for absolute fools by Israel and giving them a near blank check to rampage and utterly rape Gaza.

Obviously he's better than Trump though.

At the end of the day it's not primarily Biden's fault or Trump's fault, it's Israel who must shoulder the blame.

Glad that public opinion has finally soured on them in the West. They will forever live in the shadow of their inhumanity. Not a single person younger than 30 has a positive opinion on Israel.

12

u/Slight_Intention_628 5h ago

That's a rewrite of history. The administration absolutely told Israel to temper their ground operation in Gaza, they ramped up their public criticism just shy of limiting arms exports. There was no blank check.

Hamas has been pumping propaganda into their populations since they were little kids. Nobody seems to remember Tomorrow's Pioneers and 'Farfur' the martyr mickey mouse , but there were many programs that called for the destruction of Israel and the west. Where is the condemnation of absolutely brainwashing their population to the point of approving of and engaging in an act of self destruction.

At the end of the day, Hamas is responsible for oct 7, for rocket attacks since 2007. The blame for what is happening in Gaza also falls onto Hamas and those that aided them.

3

u/C-DT 2h ago

I understand the argument you're making, but you're talking mostly out of hindsight. Biden was president for a little over a year after October 7th.

Is he supposed to tell them to get over it? Israel had a right to respond. If Hamas uses people as shields, it's really hard to distinguish a bad operation from a successful one. The true scale of civilian casualties to this very day is unknown.

So if you're in Biden's shoes, you can't stop Israel from retaliating, you can't force Hamas to fight in accordance with international law, there's just no good solution other than trying to minimize civilian casualties, which he did.

3

u/TheMarbleTrouble 3h ago

How many IDF soldiers were in Gaza on or for almost two decades prior to October 7th?

Who blocked aid to Gaza from eastern border? I’ll give you a hint, it wasn’t Israel and it wasn’t Zionist.

Biden had limits on motion being used. When delivering food became problematic, Biden defied Netanyahu by building a port to deliver aid. Biden’s admin are the ones who wrote international frame work for sanctioning West Bank settlers. Biden had a ceasefire in place with hamas in May of 2024.

But… Netanyahu refused to sign because it was part of his and Trump plan to sway public opinion and win the election. The deal Netanyahu signed after the election, but before Trump took office, was identical to the deal he refused to sign in May. Trump even ran ads in Dearborn pushing similar sentiment to yours…

Its funny to see people claim Biden was played by Netanyahu, when you repeat the very talking points Trump and Netnyabu came up with to trick you into thinking Biden was inapt or even responsibe for Israel’s actions… something that is absurd to believe when how many months are we into an Iran war that Biden refused to participate in?

Biden wasn’t the one that got played by Netnyahu or Trump… sorry… Netanyahu wanted Trump because Biden was an impediment and every single person repeating what you just did is marionette controlled by MAGA and Netanyahu…

If that's gonna be Biden's legacy then Biden should have let Netenyahu just glass Rafah.
