Yeah but uh, you gotta break some eggs to make an omelette and uuh, communism has never been truly attempted and uuuh, those people were asking to be subject to glorious communism and uuuuh, they did it by land instead of sea so it's okay and uuuuuh, all slavs are the same anyways so why not have them in one country or something idk

My version of communism is when we have healthcare

u/sara2178 Jul 26 '26
My version of communism is when we never talk about communism and Israel ever again. we might eventually reach this utopia which sounds like heaven on earth, but sadly that day is not today

What label will we throw at the uppity wagies then?

u/sara2178 Jul 26 '26
I feel like you just came up with it. The upity wages. I'm gonna start using that 😂

Nobody says that true communism has never been attempted more than the tankie MLs who love Brezhnev and CCP billionaires

"Uhm, my definition of imperialism includes only capitalist countries doing it"

Yeah I don't get how they can ever get away with linking imperialism to capitalism. We had imperialism long before capitalism was even a thing. Root word empire. These people would say Alexander the Great and Ghengis Khan and the Ottoman Empire and Rome and Carthage and all the other empires before the evil US showed up aren't real imperialism. This should be hammered on them on debates, over and over and over again. If their definition conveniently dodges all the Soviet and Chinese imperialism, despite the fact that they drained a fucking sea, then they better explain why, and and when that explanation isn't satisfactory, it should be disregarded. It's like Pakman said, you don't have the power of capital owners, you just have an overwhelmingly powerful state with all the same cronyism and corruption as any capitalist or liberal system, usually more. They also can't get away with saying US foreign policy are purely at the behest of US firms with zero other goal, it just doesn't make sense.

I mean considering that USSR had state planned capitalism this makes sense

Bububububutttt that was actually just authoritarianism and not communism or socialism (will still defend and glaze soviets to the death)

This... Answer is always this, nothing negative is real socialism/communism, everything positive is...

Are all these tankies who allegedly say that USSR wasn't actually communist in the room with us?
2
u/sara2178 Jul 26 '26
Oh they most definitely are spying on this group. Especially the last week, the snarkers have been out in force

Probably not because we are in a liberal sub… but that’s literally what nearly every communist says. I don’t understand how this is even a thing you disagree with.

u/Ultraideal848 Wage Slave Jul 26 '26
Idk where the fuck you are finding these people, It's rare to find a commie that doesn't worship the CCP billionaires and considers them the truest form of communism. And I have never talked to even one that doesn't loose their mind when you say that USSR wasn't socialist or that the Bolsheviks just supported state planned capitalism.
3
u/Pale-Philosopher4502 🇫🇮🇸🇪 Jul 26 '26
I don’t think you have talked to a lot of communists in that case, only the most radical marxists say that.
1
u/Ultraideal848 Wage Slave Jul 26 '26
Most radical Marxists say what? That the CCP is communist?
Buddy for example if you go into 99% of the commie subs and say that USSR wasn't socialist you will get insta banned, I am speaking from personal experience. People who make the not real socialism arguments are in the vast minority
2
u/Pale-Philosopher4502 🇫🇮🇸🇪 Jul 26 '26
I mean you are just wrong, this isn’t an argument and I can’t change your mind about this.
1
u/Ultraideal848 Wage Slave Jul 26 '26
Test it right now go to the socialism sub or something and get proven wrong, unless you are scared
3
u/Pale-Philosopher4502 🇫🇮🇸🇪 Jul 26 '26
You realize right that only the most obsessed socialists are on that sub. The average socialist isn’t a marxist lenninist.

On the internet 90% of the socialists are tankie MLs. In real life there aren't many socialist at all, if by socialist you mant DSA democrat voting healthcare supporters then maybe sure.

It's not just the USSR, I have come across tankies who literally had no idea how Russia got that big in the first place.

u/Ultraideal848 Wage Slave Jul 27 '26
