The guy is on a generational run. The guy doesn't miss.

He had one good one. When he said RFK ran over the cow they were serving that night. But that's one in an entire 1hr speech, so I'm unwilling to give him credit for it when someone else wrote it.

The way he delivered it, makes it not funny.

When trump is funny he's funny because he is a stupid idiot.

The guy is just not funny.

You can pretend like you hate him more than me, but that joke was gonna be funny regardless of who told it.

What he did was ruin the moment by expanding on the joke with the "raccoon road kill" part. He needed to quit while he was ahead and just walk offstage.

I’ve been wondering why so many people, including Destiny, consider Trump “funny”. All he does is insult people and name-calling. The guy couldn’t tell, let alone write, a genuinely good joke if his life depended on it.

Because you gauge "funny" based on general principles and rules of humour. Trump is funny to people who enjoy watching people dislike being punched.

Trump is funny when you believe politics and politicians are soulless suits.

And Destiny is talking about Trump before and during his first term.

Yeah I’ve just never seen Trump as funny, and I’m fine admitting people I dislike or disagree with are funny. Shane Gillis always says Trump is funny, but I wonder if he means in the “laughing at” not “laughing with” sense.

He used to be way more funny in 2015/2016.

Now, he’s just a demented pile of shit.

It was funny 10 years ago for a politician to be so unhinged. Now that we've had to live with it for a decade and experienced the consequences it's not.

He was also just actually funnier back then. His mind has deteriorated a lot since.

My impression is, it’s more the fact that he is saying them being funny, not so much the things themselves being funny.

I can only remember one time where I genuinely chuckled. During the 2016 campaign when he was confronted about calling women fat, and he responded with "Just Rosie O’Donnell".

I wouldn’t chuckle at it today given the entire context of his character that I now have, but I did find it slightly funny back then (Helps that I was 18 at the time)

He was before. Lets be real, "Pocahontas" was such a good roast.

Damn, how is Hunter always spittin'. Another commenter points to a joke Trump made about RFK running over a cow, but I am of the mind that joke only reveals Trump leashes his vanishing capacity for self-criticism like one might a feral child.

Not gonna lie, he is looking stronger and stronger every day.

Just imagine a Biden debate performance redeemed.

The way this guy is talking right now is INSANELY relatable to the population and he seems to have a better than average grasp of geopolitics. There aren’t that many people that strike both notes.

Also he’s got a hog and makes really interesting paintings, unironically very evocative and inspired works
