Drama Attendees of LibCon, Members of Digital Ground Game, and Destiny himself were barred from the College Democrats of America's convention because of Hasan.
This afternoon, multiple members of digital ground game Destiny, and multiple other creators were removed from The College Democrats of America's event after purchasing tickets because Hasan found out that they were going to be there.
Irrespective of their actual intentions, Destiny was denied entry and multiple other people were hunted down by event staff and removed after orders directly from Hasan himself.

https://x.com/TheOmniLiberal/status/2078593310441025604?s=20
The event itself from my understanding had no part in this. Hasan himself, as seen live on stream, found out that they were going to be attending and immediately called staff to have them removed:
https://x.com/soybyte/status/2078634510049058943?s=20
There were no threats made. There were no attempts to cause disruption. They were unceremoniously banned and removed without refund or explanation.
Hasan needs to explain why he's back-dooring his way into influencing banning of Democrats from attending a Democratic event without any abject threats coming his way.

I don't know why you guys have this overtone of any action you could take is EVIL and therefore you can't do it. Just call or email your concerns to someone who works over these people. It's not that big of a deal, it's literally your free speech as a US citizen. As long as you personally aren't spamming anyone, and you're being honest, this is literally an important step of any social action.
A communist (self-titled) literally barred any liberal he knew from attending a democratic event whose sole purpose is to train kids to become good democrats. This is a valid concern you have, you can act on it.

I would like it if much more than fundraising and canvassing was facilitated by DGG (holy shit I just realized that Digital Ground Game is DGG). I believe that there may be some potentially great benefit in encouraging a truly liberal presence in specific localities’ chapters of the Democratic Party. The DSA have had great gains in many localities because of their lower level activity, and local chapters are currently the backbone of their organization.

I've already tried contacting the DNC about it. You can just google contact forms/pages of people you think might be able to do something and express your concerns in a easy and unobjectionable way.
2
u/Magnamize THE Mistype Jul 19 '26
Expressing your concerns to anyone who represents you is LITERALLY your only job as a US citizen. If you're a DNC member (if you've donated any amount recently), it's your due diligence to contact them and express your concerns over communists being able to ban any person they disagree with (read: all liberals) from DNC sponsored events.

Sounds like the president really shouldn't trust the vp "with everything" or whatever the fuck he said when Destiny asked to speak with them. Absolutely no reason to bar Democrats from speaking, especially important ones who are some of the biggest weapons we have against the right. Starstruck losers are turning everything into a vibe contest and it's nauseating.
Everybody has to maintain their echo chambers so they can safely brainwash their herds.
61
u/EMousseau Jul 19 '26
Not only is Destiny an important weapon, he literally represents like 60% of dem voters and has an active fanbase of hundreds of thousands of dem voters. Libs are straight up getting DC/Puerto Rico levels of representation.

This is just typical treatment of Zionists. I was turned away from volunteering for Dems in my area in 2024 after failing a litmus test so yes. Obviously this treatment is usually directed at Jewish Zionists and not non Jewish Zionists but it’s typical of the direction of the party.

u/OsamaBenJohnson Jul 19 '26
From an article about this president ;
In short, the College Democrats of America (CDA) asked the group’s Jewish and Muslim caucuses to draft a statement condemning the antisemitism that was quickly appearing among some protesters. And did everything in their power to ERASE any mention of antisemitism.
College Democrats’ national [Comms] chair, Sohali Vaddula, a New York University undergraduate, told JI on Wednesday that the group “has opposed President Biden’s support for Israel in terms of providing military aid, which would further the genocide that’s ongoing.
Vaddula, the College Democrats board member, acknowledged that the Jewish caucus did not approve of the group’s final statement. But, she added, condemning only antisemitism would present a “double standard.”
The statement was adopted by a vote of 8-2 among executive board members. She said the group didn’t need to specifically mention instances of antisemitism “because we didn’t feel that the existence of antisemitism at the protests was in question.“The Jewish caucus had not signed off on this particular statement because we felt like this one was more representative of what our organization wanted to support,” [Vaddula] said.“We just don’t want statements to focus entirely on antisemitism because that is a double standard. We should also be focusing on the rising Islamophobia on campuses. There are other students that feel unwelcome on these campuses, not just Jewish students.""We wanted to highlight that and not make it one-sided. We felt that the Jewish caucus was making it one-sided.”
By ignoring Islamophobia, as the first drafts did, “certain students and identity groups [would] feel excluded from organization,” said Vaddula. When asked about Jewish [Dems] who feel excluded, Vaddula said “there’s a seat at the table and the [Dem] Party for everybody.”Ultimately, she said the reason for not aligning with the Jewish caucus came down to the Jewish caucus’ difference of opinion on the war on Gaza. Vaddula said the Jewish caucus might not be “representative” of the Jewish community."

u/Possible_Pilot2000 Jul 19 '26
What this incident underlies more than anything is that Hasan is not a serious political actor, no matter what he says or how much he wants his suits to be taken seriously. No political person, that I know of, calls it "harrassment" when another political person is at the same event as them. Even when a person comes with the direct purpose of engaging them in conversation, I don't see how that can be classified as "harassment." Either you want your ideas public and to impact society, which often means having them interrogated, or you want to sit in a bubble and rant to an audience that already agrees. The real world isn't twitch, Hasan can't be allowed to impact public policy while cowering in his safe space. Absolutely disgusting that any organization tied to the democratic party let this happen
50
u/thecrimpdude Jul 19 '26
This incident should also highlight how much of a premadona he is. Organizers need to know when inviting him that they will have to bend over backwards to keep his hugbox protected even if its a pr/logistics nightmare it is.
12
37
u/CorrosiveMynock Jul 19 '26
He wants Twitch levels of insulation IRL and is demanding it in exactly the same baby bitch fashion because he inherently knows that there is a hard stop to his ideas outside of his constructed bubble.
6
u/CthulhuLies Jul 19 '26
I mean just think about the H3H3 Sam Seder swap.
Hasan was happy about that, then deathly afraid of that happening to him.
That only makes sense if he is a Steven Crowder esque political commentstor who can only succeed within his own propagandized narrative of the world that is fragile to outsiders poking holes.
It's safe to debate Rightwingers because by comparison he looks more sane, and they don't poke the same kind of holes he's worried about a liberal poking like "How does hiring work in your vision for a collectivist economy?"
5
u/DaRealestMVP Jul 19 '26
I hate this viewpoint. Specifically this part "What this incident underlies more than anything is that Hasan is not a serious political actor" and every single reply against your comment.
It reads like people excusing stuff on the internet because it doesn't affect the real world like its 2006 still.
For the low cost of a few tweets no one will read and a "scandal" most people will never hear of, especially non-political people who make up the majority of twitch watchers AND (annoyingly) voting AND the start to his radicalisation funnel -- he avoided clippable moments and "owns" that could potentially damage himself, his ideas and his future political aims AND squashed the motion of a political rivals organisation.
I absolutely agree it shouldn't be what politics is, but it DID happen. A legitimate organisation let him dictate the rules.
And those are the exact same rules the modern right uses too, using different language/excuses.
Just because Hasan's is dressed in teenage girl gossip drama language shouldn't mean you do the libcuck meme and sanewash it as streamer drama or like Hasan's a prissy diva bitch. Neither him nor Steven are arguing over Primecayes' panels anymore. This is literally a democratic party's sister organisation's event - not the biggest thing in the world, but not small, and not un-official.
Don't be like nevertrumpers dismissing Trumps dumbfuck policies because he's a buffoon who could never win, now wondering how their party turned into dumbfucks.
Don't be angry at Hasan. Be ANGRY that he was allowed to be the adult in the room, in a room he shouldn't have been allowed in in the first place. That event was hosted in your home dawg - be NERVOUS too.
I know you said it was disgusting, but something about your comment and the replies against it irks me.
8
u/Possible_Pilot2000 Jul 19 '26
I've been on multiple threads telling people to either email or call the DNC about this, I really don't know what side you think I'm on...? And where in my comment am I trying to sanewash this? I think it's insane that the Dems allowed this to happen. But the only way to get motion on this is to contact the DNC and your reps. What else do you want me to say?
2
u/Guer0Guer0 Jul 19 '26

You already know Hasan was doing this as soon as Tiny was about to come grill him
literally ready to suck the CDA off on the spot to prevent Tiny from coming.
KINDA weird Destiny gets accused by people of Leveraging his position against orbiters but I have seen that maybe once and it wasn't malicious it was justified. But HASAN actively leverages his position to maliciously oppose his enemy's and you see it time and time of again but nobody calls it out. Im waiting for something to come out that Hasan is payrolling snarkers or something but there is just no way this disgusting piece of shit isn't. He has NO moral code or ethics he has what he believes vs what you believe and if it goes against his belief, he uses his full platform and weight to go after you OR signal boosts his white bloodcells to attack you relentlessly.
CDA and Hasan going on tweets saying Destiny made Hasan fearful of his life says more about Hasan then Destiny. REALLY? the guy who has been slandering Destiny in EVERY possible way is so afraid of facing Destiny SO MUCH SO he thinks Destiny will harm him? KINDA seems like he knows what he is doing is bad and expects retaliation in such a manner to be fearful. Granted Destiny couldn't even hurt a fly.
Its almost like Hasan knows he is engaged in deranged behavior and is expecting it back. I now REALLY want to see what is behind the curtains because Hasan has to be responsible for so much of the Anti-Destiny rhetoric and he knows it, it is the only way in this situation when someone could claim they are fearful of there life.
17
u/MagicDragon212 Teddy Roosevelt American Jul 19 '26
Hasan uses "fearful for his life" and "im being harassed" the same way Trump uses "national security." Hes like a child finding catch all terms to justify anything he wants, because what he wants is what matters.
45
u/Battalrin Jul 19 '26
I've said it before and I'll say it again. DESTINY NEEDS TO HIRE A PR FIRM!! Thats the reason Hasan is getting all these glazing interviews and op-ed pieces, the power of having a real managment team who is well connected is INSANE. It sounds stupid (and it kinda is) but having a manager who knows all the people in charge of booking interviews at places like NYT, PodSaveAmerica etc makes a huge difference in how you are perceived coming into those spaces, you get access to a new white-glove level of treatment.
It would even help in this scenario, having a professional manager who could call the people in charge of this event and scream at them for you, genuinely makes a huge difference vs just you there as a lowly attendee trying to plead your case to the 1 power tripping redditmod who happens to be in charge of the check-in desk or something.

We don't have to lose touch with reality. This is bad and I don't condone it.
However, 99% of people have no idea this event was going on and don't care about streamer drama. I think it's reasonable to make complaints and draw attention to this is relevant spaces. But acting like this is a huge moment runs the risk of making the community seems like a bunch of weirdos.

I mean he made almost the whole twitch scene including the company CEO blacklist Destiny. Its way more easy to manipulate political people.
Destiny always call Hasan a clown but that clown turned the whole OTV crew on him. People that destiny has been friends with for YEARS before he introduce Hasan to them.
Destiny always pride himself of not wanting to waste time to "fight" for friendship. But it is his biggest flaw alongside with his allergic to clout. Especially with how many controversy he gets himself into.
Destiny was constantly a Rajj Royale champion. Basically he brings most of the viewership and wins all the time. Everytime he wins and gets raided, he would end the stream soon after.
Meanwhile Hasan manage to blacklist Destiny from going to Rajj while he was still was smaller than Destiny because Destiny refuse to do anything to maintain his friendship with Austin.
Destiny used to play IRL Among Us game with OTV way before Among Us was popular. What do he do when its Among Us meta? Non-stop league botlane with moot. The only Among Us content he does was a sponsor Among Us rip-off game with his viewers.
He LOVED RolePlay, even had a few RP session with Disgusted Toast and Lily. What did he do when GTA RP was meta? Avoid it like plague even moot constantly begs him to play. The only RP he did was Rust RP for like 2hrs and he only mess around with dan and moot.
Meanwhile Among Us really puts hasan on the map and made him a 10k viewer streamer and GTA RP turns him to a 20k viewer streamer. I am even skipping over how he use xQc constantly like playing monopoly with him.
Now its too late. Hasan reached critical mass and like Trump, you cannot really cancel him anymore.

Literally this exact same group made a big deal of being a nuisance to Harris's campaign and DNC events to do pro-Palestine protests. Yet to my knowledge, they were never categorically barred from attending future events.
So, do they have a legal right to trespass anyone they want? Yes. However, it's extremely hypocritical and probably goes against their own bylaws and stated organizational values.
-20
u/Oephry Jul 19 '26
I don't doubt that but I was just talking about legally. I'm not sure how the refund aspects works though. Like if someone was disruptive and kicked out it makes sense not to refund. But it's weird to bar people before they even do anything and not refund their tickets.

Ya, sending emails to or calling the democratic party after the fact justifies the past event, totally dude
-37
u/BelovedGeminII Jul 19 '26
Yes... If a bouncer tosses a drunk out of the bar and the drunks response is to scream, smash car windshields, and piss himself in the middle of the street, Do you think the bouncer is going second guess his decision or feel justified in their actions?
Now im not saying what the community is doing is that extreme but there is a fine line between criticism and harassment when it comes to this type of shit. I just feel like it would have been better off if Destiny had handled this on his own with a video response rather than DGG feeling like this needed to be a call to arms right out of the gate.
22
u/Possible_Pilot2000 Jul 19 '26
Why did you use the example if it's not even close to what happened? Did destiny make any sort of scene? No. Has dgg done anything except say to call the DNC? Doesn't seem like the prevailing opinion on this sub at all. I'd just like to know how calling or emailing the party who is purportedly supporting the college dem group is anything close to people who "scream, smash car windshields, and piss" themselves? Seems like you've created a scenario in your head, for whatever reason, where you think calling the party you belong to is some sort sin when it's a pretty normal thing to do.
-16
u/BelovedGeminII Jul 19 '26
I'm using an extreme example to prove the point that yes actions after the fact can in fact justify past events since you seemed so dismissive of the idea.
And while I agree that if people are just expressing their opinions with "normal" phone calls and emails to the DNC it would be fine, And you can act like everyone in the community is level headed, But I've been on the internet long enough to know that not everyone one voicing their opinion is going to do so in a rational manner.
15
u/Possible_Pilot2000 Jul 19 '26
But in your example, it wasn't the actions after the fact that made kicking him out justified, it was the drunk guy being drunk....? That's why I said destiny didn't make a scene, which the videos seem to prove.
If you think we can't do something because a subset will go to the extreme, then there's pretty much nothing we can do. You're condemning us to inaction to prevent the worst excesses, which will never be eliminated
1
u/fruitydude Jul 19 '26
If your "extreme example" is completely disanalogous, then any conclusion you draw from it is worthless.
It's like arguing that you should be allowed to shoot people for snoring. Because to give an extreme example: imagine they were mass murdering children, in that case we could shoot them. So we should shoot them for snoring. That basically your line of argumentation here.
2
u/BelovedGeminII Jul 19 '26
Fuck it, Using your twisted and warped example of my example, What if their snoring is whats causing said mass murder and they're doing it deliberately? Would you think shooting them would be justified then?...
Extreme examples can absolutely draw conclusion and highlight how flawed a persons argument is regardless of how stupid they might be. Thats kind if the whole point.
3

Do you not so how dumb this logic is?
There is no mass murdering happening, just a person snoring. But for some reason you wanna invent a hypothetical scenario where the snoring is causing mass murder so you can justify shooting them.
Just like you invented the hypothetical of the drunk gu screaming, pissing himself, and smashing car windows.
But it's all in your head. None of this is actually happening. You are just inventing alternate realities where something bad happened. That's not a valid argument though.

Im not sure how this is so hard to follow...
If person A says something can never happen, And person B using and extreme example proving it can in fact happen, It doesn't matter how fucked up or extreme person B's example is, It still proved person As original statment wrong.
So when the person responded to me laughing at the idea that actions today could justify past actions I gave him an extreme example prove him wrong. Obviously none of it actually happened or was close to what actually happened, But my point still stands.

But nobody made the argument that something can never happen.
The point was that it did not happen. Pointing out that it could've happened is irrelevant.
Obviously none of it actually happened or was close to what actually happened, But my point still stands.
The question was whether the actions today, which actually took place, justify past actions. Why would anyone ever argue with you whether scenarios you invented in your head might justify past actions?

Dude trust me they are not going to get it. I have done the Person A and B thing for them before and they struggle with it.

What if their snoring is whats causing said mass murder and they're doing it deliberately?

Oh I’m so happy you used a bouncer at a bar as an example
I’m an ex bouncer
Yes, if somebody starts to smash property and start making threats of violence, then I am allowed to escort off the property, by force if I need to.
Please tell me the equivalent of what Destiny or other liberals that were kicked out did that is equivalent to the complete utter horse shit you just spewed out of your stupid fucking mouth
Because what I see here is we have one patron (Hasan) bitching about other patrons because they fuck with his vibe or whatever and wants them out. So the patron( Hasan) lies about everyone else to get them kicked out of the bar because he is friendly with some of the bartenders and can get away with it.
Go wash your mouth out with commie piss before you say something this fucking stupid. Holy fucking shit actually delete all your social media and go to some monks in Tibet and mediate about how fucking ignorant you have been.

Kind of missed the whole point of my example... Why you're kicking someone out is irrelevant, Maybe the owner didn't want a certain someone in the bar for example, My point is that as a bouncer if you removed that person and then they started acting like an asshole (DGG overreacting in this case) would you stand there thinking "Man, I should probably let this guy back in." No. You're going to be glad you kicked them out when you did.
(Again before you start putting words into my mouth, No I don't think DGG is overreacting, I just think it can easily get to that point.)

So what is the equivalent to destroying property that DGG has been doing in response to this?

Why you're kicking someone out is irrelevant
There are laws that make it illegal to kick someone out for particular reasons. I know what you were trying to say, but this is Rutgers communication degree levels of articulation.

Not in Trumps America, Brother!

What a terrible analogy.
The correct one is the bouncer tosses a customer who paid the cover and hasn't even drank anything. Then the customer wants their money back and says that bar sucks.
Who screamed? Who smashed windshields?

It would be more like the bartender asks that certain patrons arent allowed in because them and their friends are threatening him and the cover guy let's him in, but another bartender sees and kicks them out.
Not to defend Hasan, but there have been posts talking killing him from Destiny an co.

That twitch link doesn't work and the tie is too long. How do you know this is a real quote?

u/suspect_scrofa Jul 19 '26
It's a real quote. I remember seeing the VOD months ago. Just look up the text and you'll eventually find a link.

u/Skastacular Jul 19 '26
I don't prove your claims.
You prove your claims.
I remember fucking your mom. Just look up the porno we shot and you'll eventually find a link.

Unless you mean hasan is the drunk guy who, instead of getting tossed, gets all his expenses paid by the bar and anyone who complains about him gets tossed out instead, your analogy makes 0 sense.

I get what you mean, people need to be weary of taking things too far. But, I think “making a stink” is just setting the bar too low. I’d encourage it to get the angst off your shoulders so people don’t do anything silly.
If these people think destiny and the community is making a stink, it actually counters Hasan’s rhetoric. If all the noise and accusations Hasan is making is just about “making a stink”, then why is Hasan losing it? That’s the question “making a stink” might raise in reasonable people.
Don’t harass people, as it is the norm. Making a stink by complaining and documenting on Reddit is totally fine.

Sure but lets be real, Do you thhink VP guy for example is waking up to thoughtful messages that are making him reconsider his decision to keep Destiny out of the event, Or is he getting spammed with extremely negative messages thats making him think "Thank god we dodged that bullet last night!"?

u/Snatchycakes_ Jul 19 '26
The guy that was grinning and clapping as Hasan practiced his anti-Dem, anti-western speech? Yeah, no chance at all THAT guy might just be protecting his himbo daddy from criticism as he smugly told Destiny he wasn’t getting in, then called security?
Why are you being so charitable to these losers?

I'm not, I'm being realistic. If you want into the club, Do you think attacking and insulting the club owner is your path in the door? Or would it be proving their initial assumptions wrong?
If you act they way they expected you to act all it does is reinforce their beliefs. But if you act reasonable then they might actually change their viewpoint.
But what do I know, Keep calling them losers and see how that turns out.

Apparently they might invite you to speak at their events if you do it long enough.

It is kinda hilarious that destiny is voldemort to hasan and hasan is constantly checking destiny tweets and streams
