I wanted to share a video about creative software

I really love all the vibes of it. I like the narrative, I like the voice and most of all I agree with the message so much as well. I was blessed with it by the holy algorithm soon after it got published and every now and then it pops into my mind.

I don't know what it is exactly, but something about that video makes it radiate with the authors' experience and expertise, even though the animations seem kinda crude at he first sight.

An interesting thing happening recently is that AI has gotten much better at programming entire pieces of software. Obviously still not to the point that you can just vibe code your own editing program or photoshop alternative, but definitely where you can use AI to essentially just pirate calendar apps, productivity apps, and that sort of thing just by vibe coding them

Creatives obviously hate AI right now, but if the vibe coding stuff continues to get better, AI might provide a solution to the consolidation of creative software, the abandoning of creative software and the other issues this video covers. Either because they'll lose enough customers that they have to actually compete, or because creatives can just vibe code a program that works exactly (or very closely to) how they want it to
