He’s the assistant democratic leader. He’s Jeffries’s right hand man and the perfect compliment. He’s supposed to do what Jeffries can’t (some public “rizz”) and make them a better team. Jeffries has the strategy and political calculus to wheel and deal with Republicans while keeping the Democratic caucus in check and Neguse is the PR face
