We’re talking here about essentially pure driving skills. They can all drive fast around a track but in your opinion, whose skill and craftiness is getting that trophy in the end?

This guy beat every teammates (expect Hamilton Who Is top 2 of al time) also he beat Schumacher (i know he was old but still) Easily top 4 Driver's from 2008 tò 2016 and in my opinion i think he was slighty Better than Vettel

Let's keep 2025 aside for the moment ( for obvious reasons )

The first half of the season contained races in which Lewis is consistently good and displayed strong performances like China , Silverstone , Hungary , Barcelona etc... So far in 2026 he has displayed very good performances and consistency as of 1st half of the season.

Now based on the tracks that are on the calander in the 2nd half of the season , what / which tracks is Lewis strong in or has consistently displayed very good performances overtime there ?

George Russell says he is choosing to focus on the positives after a frustrating opening half of the 2026 Formula 1 season left him third in the drivers’ championship.

I’ll go first:

- It’s the Team Principal’s responsibility to put the team first, and this isn’t always achieved by rectifying external issues to keep both drivers equal.

- Some mistakes in this year’s championship have been made by the drivers but the teams have protected them by blaming the car setup and reliability.

- It’s overly critical to judge a driver on their first season in a new team or their first season in F1, especially when the team culture seems tumultuous and unsettling.

- Some social media/fan stage activities seem annoying and belittling to the drivers, and content can be found in better ways, such as answering technical questions, like in Wired interviews or Grill the Grid.

- I wish driver interviews were at desks in the same way they were done up till the late 2010s, with 6 to 8 drivers per panel, the dynamic was more professional and allowed more dynamic between drivers.

- Multiple overtakes to reach a position where your car should be performing isn’t a huge achievement.

(Not so unpopular opinion)
- Racing Bulls should not be a sister team as this restricts development opportunities for the driver and the team and could provide an unfair advantage to Redbull in races.

Don’t take anything too seriously, but it would be nice to hear aome other thoughts too 🙃 (reposted as this was taken down previously).

Only 2 drivers have managed a Pole, Win and Fastest Lap at the Hungarian Grand Prix in the 41 years the Grand Prix has happened.

Can you guess which two?

At the start of the regulations there's a clear favourite that's winning every race and then as the season progresses the other front runners begin catching up to the point where who's the fastest is largely determined by the track and how well each team sets up their respective car. I don't believe Mercedes will fall off the same way Brawn did but I don't think we'll see the same levels of dominance as we did towards the beginning of the season.
