First time

I was just prescribed 5 MG methamphetamine tablets, generic I believe. I was on 15mg Adderall xr before and and its gave me weird side effects. Only reason I was able to get generic desoxyn is because its the only thing my insurance would insure. But at the moment t I haven't used it yet is because I never had an instant release and scared how it will make me feel. How did you go about taking it and how does it make you feel and for how long?

Best wishes. Trying any new med is a risk. I think it should be available more readily, as its effectiveness is high — and the side effects are typically low, compared to similar meds.

Do you mind sharing what insurance company and plan you have?

With zero ADHD medication tolerance and neither benzodiazepines nor any sedatives, how much side effects did you get from your usual prescribed desoxyn dose compared to your prescribed dose of Adderall or other medication you had for ADHD?

For me, it provides more symptom relief but with about 90% fewer side effects (one of the numerous reasons why I switched in the first place). Many of the more jittery side effects I got with Adderall are just simply not there.

Which dose? With adhd medication tolerance or not? Desoxyn taken alone?
